Speculating and joking going around on twitter: Henry?1?! Glee (season 5) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glee_(season_5)
Cast
It has been reported that there will be changes to the main and recurring casts: Amber Riley, Heather Morris, Mark Salling, and Harry Shum, Jr. will be moving from the main to recurring casts, and fourth season recurring cast members Jacob Artist, Melissa Benoist, Blake Jenner, Alex Newell, and Becca Tobin will be joining the main cast.[4] Two former main cast members, who appeared as recurring guest stars in the fourth season, have been cast in series regular roles in new television shows: Mike O'Malley on Welcome to the Family, and Jayma Mays on The Millers. O'Malley has confirmed that he will also be appearing on Glee in its fifth season, and Mays "has been cleared to appear in a few episodes" of the show.[11][12] In a recent interview about her upcoming movie, The Smurfs 2, Mays confirmed this would be her last season with the show, and in the same interview it was revealed that Matthew Morrison would also be leaving the show.[13] Recurring guest star Vanessa Lengies has also been cast on Mixology, but she has confirmed she is not leaving Glee.[14] On July 26, 2013, Nene Leakes announced that she would be returning to Glee for Season 5.[15]
To date, reports have appeared concerning seven new recurring characters being cast for Glee's fifth season: three females and four males. The females include Ruby, a new African-American student at McKinley High, and two women in their twenties, Ryan, who sings and plays the guitar, and a "cute and quirky" character variously named Julie and Jenny, who will first appear in the second episode.[16][17] The four males include three men in their forties or fifties: the talented and egotistical Roderick Easton; an intelligent and good-looking teacher named Jim Elliott; and Jurgen, who speaks with an Austrian or German accent.[18] The fourth, Henry, has just been reported by name.[19]
Ryan Murphy has announced that Adam Lambert is set to join the cast during the fifth season, though no further information is yet available on his role or the extent of it.[20]

Okay, I know where Adam got his glasses! I just received a free pair of sunglasses from my Hyundai dealer that look exactly like Adam's frames. I guess the man is frugal afterall.

It is interesting...and no one here has apparently gotten the connection...that singer Audra Mae is also featured on the Avicii album. Audra, who is the great-great-niece of Judy Garland, sang at the Upright Cabaret during the period that Adam was also performing there. I believe that after Idol Adam even attended one of her shows there to show support. Since then, Audra has been slowly been building her career by doing music festivals. So Avicii is using TWO singers who came out of Upright Cabaret, and are real singers, as opposed to auto-tuned creations like Chris Brown and Rihanna. ADDING THIS: Per her website, Audra has actually appeared with Avicii and sung live with him at some recent festivals. Thanks for connecting the dots on that. I'll have to check her out.

I am so excited about Adam being on Glee. I think I would be being a very bad sport about Idol, if a role on Glee was not forthcoming. He needs all the mass exposure he can get with a new album on the road in what I hope is the not too distant future. I am sure he will get to sing in whatever role it is because who would hire Adam Lambert for a musical show and not have him sing? I am surprised by the name Henry, because it is the one of the last names I would pick for Adam. I have a dear nephew named Henry, but he has a very British last name and a British looking face, so it fits him well. Adam not so much. I originally was hoping for Roderick Easton, which is an absolutely fabulous name IMO. In the end, what's in a name, a rose by.................

I am only just now having a chance to fully listen to the Mid State Fair show, blasted from good speakers all over my house. DAMN!!!! Adam was just ON, fully connected, loose and letting his amazing voice just riff and rip!! I think ending with RCA was and is totally liberating for him. I cannot wait to see what he has in store for us on A3! LOOOOLLLLLLL!!! I had to delurk quickly for this, because I've been having a serious work meeting with colleagues at my house, and suddenly the porch door opens across the fence and I hear Adam on FULL VOLUME ROCKING OUT!!! And my co-editor with whom I was meeting shot a weird look in that direction and said "What is UP with your neighbors?! It's like a party over there!" And I said,oh, don't mind them, they're just a pair of rocker chicks! :D :D :D But secretly I was thinking: "Yeah!! There goes the Get-It-Girl!!!!"

If they really pick Henry and this rumor is true, they are probably creating a comical character for Adam, which will be delightful to see. I see them tying into this side of his personality:
But somebody, who then, when on stage, can come fully alive and deliver. That would be a great contrast to play off of and would suit Adam very well.
Ok, so here we go again with mashed potatoes. lol Just for change of pace, can we make something different than mashed potatoes, this time. i.e. make chocolate pudding or pineapple-upside-down-cake or something. I am really tired of mashed potatoes at this point, even though I love them.

Everyone may not know that you two live across the fence from each other. (amw is the midwife pal to midwifespal.) It feels like years ago that one of you explained your connection. I've always thought it must be lovely to have a close neighbor to share the Adam love with.
