I hope it is a comical character. He excels at comedy! But I don't watch Glee (yet) so I have to ask - Do they have funny characters? Or is it all straight? I don't mean "straight" that way LOL - just non-comedy.

Not sure if this had already been posted. It was from the Queen shows in London but just uploaded July 30, 2013. Wow!! Thank you to the person who put this video together. As an Adam fan I of course think Queen is lucky to have Adam. As a life long Queen fan I think Adam is beyond lucky to have Queen. (No doubt whatsoever) But this video makes me incredibly happy. Adam fans, myself included here, know Adam is a supergalactic talent but we also know what it means to be a loyal fan of someone and be picky about who we want that person with (not that we get to choose). In my mind it was impossible that Adam not win people over, not just because of his voice and talent as a performer but also because of his personality and humility. But I understand how Queen fans had to open up their minds to and embrace a new sound and personality and in the case of an absolute favorite band and the change being a front singer that is exceptionally hard. I am a life long Queen fan. Adam is the only musician I love as much. Fell head over heals in the same way I fell for Queen. When I allowed myself to really believe that they were truly getting together, my brains blew out with joy. When it actually happened. Insane euphoria. No one can be Freddy Mercury and I am so happy seeing these happy people who could see Adam for Adam and appreciate him fully. As an Adam fan, I want him appreciated as Adam, not as next Freddy (great honor though that is.) Adam is the next Adam.

If they really pick Henry and this rumor is true, they are probably creating a comical character for Adam, which will be delightful to see. I see them tying into this side of his personality: So you think a character named Henry has to be comedic character and can't be seriously hot? I beg to differ! Here's Exhibit A (or maybe I should say Exhibit H)...

Speculating and joking going around on twitter: Henry?1?! Glee (season 5) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glee_(season_5)
Cast
It has been reported that there will be changes to the main and recurring casts: Amber Riley, Heather Morris, Mark Salling, and Harry Shum, Jr. will be moving from the main to recurring casts, and fourth season recurring cast members Jacob Artist, Melissa Benoist, Blake Jenner, Alex Newell, and Becca Tobin will be joining the main cast.[4] Two former main cast members, who appeared as recurring guest stars in the fourth season, have been cast in series regular roles in new television shows: Mike O'Malley on Welcome to the Family, and Jayma Mays on The Millers. O'Malley has confirmed that he will also be appearing on Glee in its fifth season, and Mays "has been cleared to appear in a few episodes" of the show.[11][12] In a recent interview about her upcoming movie, The Smurfs 2, Mays confirmed this would be her last season with the show, and in the same interview it was revealed that Matthew Morrison would also be leaving the show.[13] Recurring guest star Vanessa Lengies has also been cast on Mixology, but she has confirmed she is not leaving Glee.[14] On July 26, 2013, Nene Leakes announced that she would be returning to Glee for Season 5.[15]
To date, reports have appeared concerning seven new recurring characters being cast for Glee's fifth season: three females and four males. The females include Ruby, a new African-American student at McKinley High, and two women in their twenties, Ryan, who sings and plays the guitar, and a "cute and quirky" character variously named Julie and Jenny, who will first appear in the second episode.[16][17] The four males include three men in their forties or fifties: the talented and egotistical Roderick Easton; an intelligent and good-looking teacher named Jim Elliott; and Jurgen, who speaks with an Austrian or German accent.[18] The fourth, Henry, has just been reported by name.[19]
Ryan Murphy has announced that Adam Lambert is set to join the cast during the fifth season, though no further information is yet available on his role or the extent of it.[20]

I don't mean "straight" that way LOL - just non-comedy. They have plenty of LGBT characters and storylines and VERY funny characters. I watch the show primarily for Jane Lynch whose character is absolutely brilliant and hysterical. Most all of the characters are comedic, some funnier than others. And, yes, I agree, Adam is great at comedy and he's said he would most like to to a comedic character when asked about acting roles. The VH1 Divas skits were a hoot. I still like watching them for giggles now and then.

Several people on twitter were talking about the Henry character on Glee and referencing the photo above. I couldn't figure out who first made the connection.

4Msrmyn--thanks for giving the background. you're right--no reason many people would know that. Yep, AMW and I are fence-buddies, and every now and then we get to release all our squee over that fence in person, which is always fun! ETA: she lives next door to me, but we actually met properly (more than just friendly hello's) on MJ's! I saw "austinmidwife" and thought, couldn't be...or could it?! Ha ha the long wait between my "ooooh are you adam-lambert-obessed-too?!" fangirly email to my neighbor and her affirmative answering email was a touch uncomfortable though, lol.
