Avicii will be there with Nile so It does looks like that Adam will be there too to launch their new song. What got me excited about "Lay Me Down" is because Adam's actually wrote the lyrics. No wonder they give him that songwriter credits. Nile & Avicii already composed the melody and Nile invited Adam in to write the tracks.

I love what Niles said about musicians and Community.. definitely what makes Adam tick..Impressive Sometimes the biggest are the most giving..I think Adam is finding his way through the shark infested waters of show business,while playing with the Dolphins.  |

If they really pick Henry and this rumor is true, they are probably creating a comical character for Adam, which will be delightful to see. I see them tying into this side of his personality: But somebody, who then, when on stage, can come fully alive and deliver. That would be a great contrast to play off of and would suit Adam very well. Ok, so here we go again with mashed potatoes. lol Just for change of pace, can we make something different than mashed potatoes, this time. i.e. make chocolate pudding or pineapple-upside-down-cake or something. I am really tired of mashed potatoes at this point, even though I love them. First, I agree Adam's character could be comical; he'd be a riot. And we have no idea if he is Henry. Second...this has been on my mind for awhile, but Craazy game me a lead-in (thank you). There are a few things on Atop that are dear to me..kind of like traditions of a sort. Mashed Potatoes is one. Mys*&@^#r has always been the Oracle of The Mashed and I, personally, would be so happy if we could return to deferring to her in terms of potatoes. This is in NO way intended to infer that people shouldn't speculate or investigate...that is what we do here. But, as Craazyforadam just pointed out, there are an infinite number of food groups that one could, mash, juice, or otherwise indulge in. I love lemon curd..yummers. We'd have a much more balanced diet.. And it would be fun to find your particular 'mash' to add to your ninja experience. Or combine, switch out, just have fun with it!  I think adding some butter and gravy once in awhile might be helpful, but we could have a blast trying out our own personalized goodies. It could be a lot of laughs as well, and heaven knows, on slow news cycles, laughs are always appreciated! This is my fond request..people can do as they please. What think you??? ![]() OK, I'm going to go with Vivlite's request to find our own food groups. Mine will be "melted ice cream"!!! Why - because one of the things I have in common with Adam is that we both LOOOOOVE good ice cream! So, after letting this bowl of Talenti's Banana Chocolate Swirl Gelato (Italian ice cream) melt,  and then swirling around the melted ice cream with my spoon, what do I see? Why I'm 99.99% sure I see another Adam + Nile Rodgers song on A3!!! |

I will always love American Idol for introducing us to Adam and I hate to watch AI die. Why they would even consider rehiring J.Lo and adding Will.i.am is beyond me. I think the AI audience was willing to give J.Lo a chance at the beginning of season 10, Jan 2011. Her second season, AI 11 - 2012, saw a huge viewer loss, though. I find Will.i.am hugely annoying. Seems like he always wants to be the center of attention. I don't think the AI audience will find him amusing for very long. American Idol is like a huge ship headed for the rocks. It is slow to turn and may be impossible to prevent disaster, but I give it no chance with J.Lo and Will.i.am as the new judges. Four years ago, I couldn't wait to see what Adam was going to do next on American Idol. I know he wouldn't be singing each week, but Adam talking is the next best thing. Fans and critics alike get excited whenever Adam's name has come up as a candidate for AI judge.
