Speaking of PSY, a South Korean fan on IDF said that PSY's beer ad with "If I Had You" has been playing in his country every night for two months. He also said that 30 seconds of "Trespassing" was being played as promo for CSI Miami. He said "Strut" was played on an ad a while back (I remember that) and "Cuckoo" was also played on a drama (I don't remember that). Notice that the last three songs I mentioned were Adam co-writes. I hope he gets a bit of money whenever they are played. idolforums.com/index.php?s=&showtopic=696387&view=findpost&p=25872925And somewhat related, NCOE video is being played a lot in Asia: idolforums.com/index.php?s=&showtopic=696387&view=findpost&p=25856374If you continue reading posts on the that thread, someone from Pakistan reported it (NCOE) was being played on AXN. I just love it when countries "get" Adam. Just waiting for the US to catch on. Is that IIHY beer commercial real? I thought it was fan created. Also, Sony ME is very aggressive with licensing in Asia. I think that is the primary factor in play here. Last I remember, people thought it was fake initially, but then someone posted that it was on the beer company's website. Looks real to me if this guy from Korea is saying he is seeing it on his TV. Anyone else happen to know?

Yep. The facial hair seems to be popular in the gay community. @newnownext: We are LIVING for @adamlambert's new facial hair: logo.to/16rV8FF I'm surprised that some of us expect him to shave when so many young men are now sporting facial hair. Why would he get rid of what is now considered a cool look just to please a certain segment of his fandom?

From a S. Korean fan at another site:
"This is probably not the right thread to be reporting this in---though I guess it's as good an indication as any that, in my part of the world at least, Adam is perceived as "cool"---but South Korean TV is now using Trespassing in its promo for the final season of CSI Miami (of all things!). The song sounds great, and we get about 30 seconds of it.
This is on top of the 40-second Cass Light beer commercial featuring Psy, with Adam's If I Had You on the soundtrack, which has been playing every night for about two months now (and Strut was used on another ad here last year, while Cuckoo featured on a drama). This video's an early version of the ad; the more recent one features less of the opening verse and more of the chorus, and is much better edited.
Editing aside, it's all great exposure!"
"Sorry: I don't have any means of recording stuff from the TV here. But take my word for it: Adam's singing of Trespassing gave the CSI promo a lot of excitement! (Far more than the series deserves, I suspect haha.gif )
By the way, what strikes me every time the ad featuring "If I Had You" pops up----and it's hard to miss it!---is just how damn infectious the song is. It's super catchy, and how it didn't become as popular as WWFM is a mystery to me. "

Asian Music AwardsThere was something extra hot going on with Adam on that Asian trip. Adam, Melvin, and the vocals are smokin' and PSY thinks so, too! Psy's expression...the man looks like he's seriously in awe (or in love)

You called . As far as I'm concerned he can do anything he likes, with Melvin, without Melvin I always think he's about as good as it gets (ok, alongside Johnny Depp). And, as with his music, I never knew I liked it till he did it . For me it's about the whole being. He is what he is, and that pretty darn great -IJLHSM . goes without saying of course..................the voice is to die for

Energy Music Radio @energy150778 ‘I’m just excited to pay respect’: Adam Lambert fires back at purists who question his role in Queen fb.me/2I3UFVxDDConcerts, Rock Music — August 6, 2013 at 10:01 am ‘I’m just excited to pay respect’: Adam Lambert fires back at purists who question his role in Queen by Something Else! Adam Lambert’s long-awaited stateside appearance with Queen at the iHeartRadio Festival sparks anew the debate over his filling in for the late Freddie Mercury, even though he’s at least the fourth singer to do so alongside surviving members Roger Taylor and Brian May. “It’s been interesting,” Lambert says in this AOL clip. “There are some purists out there who are, like: ‘There’s only one Freddie Mercury.’ I know that. I agree! I’m just excited to pay respect to his memory, and to his songwriting — and, hopefully, bring this music alive again for fans of the songs.” Lambert first performed with Queen for a finale of “American Idol,” then at the 2011 EMA Awards — though, in both cases, that was only for a few tracks. Last summer, he participated in a series of full-length European shows. Now Lambert’s set to make his U.S. debut with Queen in September, following in the footsteps of Mercury successors George Michael (once in 1992), Paul Rodgers (2005-09) and Keane’s Tom Chaplin (once in 2010). Mercury, one of rock music’s most identifiable and dynamic performers, died in 1991 from AIDS complications. For Lambert, performing with Queen is something he’s particularly proud to do because Mercury’s music always had such a special place in his own life. “I’ve always loved Queen,” Lambert says. “When I found out about Queen, and first heard their albums from my dad’s record collection, I was, like: ‘What is this?!’ Because I had been into musical theater, and there was such a crossover. It’s rock, but it’s so theatrical. A lightbulb went off for me. I went: ‘Oh, so that’s what rock ‘n’ roll came be.’”

Oh bamafan! thanks for sharing the video of eli's roadtrip! How sweet and lovely. No matter what their relationship is, I like this guy. I read that he is from Iowa and was brought up doing TM- transcendental meditation. He is into alternative spirituality with an emphasis on positivity. He seems grounded, down to earth and real. (sounds familiar?)
Thanks, mys*&@^#r! that's the pic I was wishin' for. I just want to play with that little bit of hair......
