Agreed. Not a villian exactly but perhaps just a tiny bit unscrupulous within the bounds of propriety, of course. I think he's just going be so damn good, it makes Kurt work harder to be better! I agree -- a rival does not need to be evil, just a rival. I go for this definition of Nemesis: An opponent that cannot be beaten or overcome. I am hoping for a singing competition!

And I would guess Adam will enjoy being back in an ensemble (old times) , especially knowing he won't be stuck in the chorus... ETA: I agree - a singing competition!

Kurt/Chris has very soft speaking voice so I don't know if he has Adam's range. I'm not so sure how a singing competition between Kurt & Adam's going to be. I was thinking the only voice that can match Adam's Lea, since I've watched Lea on other movie and she has big voice like Adam.

I have only watched a couple of episodes of Glee and a quite a few video clips. Adam sings rings around everyone, even Lea. However, Adam is accustomed to singing with an ensemble and I am sure that he will never intentionally overpower the rest of the cast. As a nemesis, the part may require that he overpower his competitor. Now that should rile up so major hate against Adam and his character. It's going to be interesting. I think this role in Glee is much better for expanding opportunities than another round at the Idol trough. It has the potential for so much more versatility.

Well it is not real life -- just a TV show so anything is possible with sound magic!!

Here is a scene from the recent season where you can compare both voices.

Can someone point me in the direction of Nile's Huffington Post interview?

With Avicii and Nile taking the dates of the 13th & 14th, there are now no open dates for i-Tunes before i-Heart ( for Queenbert.) There are a few after though. I just thought Adam could go to London to rehearse with Queen and show up for a couple numbers with Nile (and one with Avicii and Nile) while he is there. That makes more sense to me than setting up some rehearsal time in the States. And I think they will rehearse -- they have not performed for a year. ** There was a question about the translation of Brian's Krone interview and that he did not say London. Here is a reliable translation: The open question is who would they perform with in London -- Brian never said Adam. But he definitely said London. Many people thought that Queenbert could be playing iTunes Festival in mid-Sept but that seems unlikely with the latest announcements. The iTunes festival open dates are Sept 1, 19, 21, 22, 24, 27 and 30. One (prob 9.30.13) is almost certainly Lady Gaga. Now I'm confused. I thought there was not going to be a London TV special.
