Thanks, I just saw this and when it starts with wcbsfm... it works!!!! Couldn't leave without listening to it, great story pimping a hit record in LMD, YAYAYAYAYAY!!! Now I'm late but running out of the door. Oh, great! Now that I listened to the interview again, I think maybe Nile's talking about LMD, and We Are King were the backup vocals on this song. I'm not clear about it. On the one hand he makes it sound as if he wrote the song, and on the other hand, Avicii is part of the story in some capacity. I need an English speaker here please lol!! Dunno about Frank, I've never listened to him much, but I like Aloe Blacc. His voice is really nice:) Both live and recorded. Agree about Aloe Blacc; he's listed as a soul singer, rapper but the song with Avici sounds more country. When he sings live his soul side really comes through...like his voice. As you can see from my avi, I really, really like Adam's new look. It looks like he did trim his mustache and the color isn't so dark. ![]() ![]() |

What are you guys talking about? I know nothing about labels and stuff but I highly doubt they come up with cover stories (pun intended) when they drop artists.
And even if that were true ( and I think it isn't), and Adam wanted and managed to avoid the let go impression, why would his fans spoil it for him and talk about it publicly?

I think he must be talking about LMD. Nile says he composed the song. I think that means he wrote the music. Adam did the lyrics, although he didn't say it in this interview. He says he sent it to Avicii. But did you notice that Nile says a couple of times that Adam was "dropped", not left, from his label. ??? Yeah, he's probably talking about LMD. It has female backup vocals for sure. About the "dropped" thing - Nile says he was dropped because that's the only way his story would have a punch line, but it doesn't mean that that's what really happened. But even if it is true, for me it's the best thing that's happened to Adam for a long time, better even than Glee, IMO. |

Does anyone know who gets the Season 8 CD royalties? I asked because when I went through Walmart's music section recently, they have a new crop of the S8 top 10 compilation CD. And they're not in the old music section where they normally have one or two; they have them in a special display with all the top current CD's. Just curious since I haven't seen them do that before. I'm surprised that after 4 years it's still selling.
They also had Adam's Glam Nation CD and FYE which I was happy to purchase as I have given all my spares away, but it's the first time I have ever seen either at Walmart.
