Ok I've been on vacation for two weeks...I have periodically peaked in so I'm not sure of every infinite detail. BUT I have a few questions and not sure if these have been addressed No announcement of a LABEL??? why? possibility of labels not sure???? I know he has Glee coming up and yes music will be released but to me, this is not his music but Glee singles. ok he makes money but not the pop star CD songs FROM his album. If no label then I guess no CD yet. I was hoping for a single soon... He has not had a presence on radio since when?????? lots of time off air YES I know the avicii might release LMD possibly next but I associate that with AVICII TRUE CD and a single featuring Adam and NOT ADAM'S single from his CD. Does this make a difference as a hit maker on radio? Queen gig fabulous but again, I want him known for his music. I want a hit from album #3 just wondering..................... also...since he is in the "hot" mode w the above events, releasing a single soon would be advantageous as,I believe he would have a better chance of radio play JMHO but the only thing that will generate radio airplay for Adam is a killer song released by a major label. And the idea that Adam had some deal in his hip pocket is not how the business works. It will take time -- if he even decides to sign with another major label deal -- he could choose to be stay independent. And in the current environment (36% of music US sales by indie artists) and indie artists getting US airplay (Thrift Shop #1 on radio), that is a real possibility. ETA: Just to clarify what is a somewhat muddled post by me -- I think Adam could to indie, and I think indie artists can get airplay, I just think Adam needs the backing of a major label to get airplay.

Using my vodka I predict Adam will sing "Lets Dance", "Shady" and "Lay me Down" with Nile in the Hamptons and Bono may come to see the show YES, those are the songs I hope he performs... And my wish list is that Bowie shows up and sings "Let's Dance" and even better Adam joins in ... If anyone could pull it off I think Nile could. Really hope for a live stream of the 19th. Anyone think this is possible? Live Stream = yes. Bowie performing = no chance.

To me these statements seem a little contradictory. In the first you seem to be saying that a major label ts the only road to radio success, and in the second seem to be acknowledging that the indie route is a viable option. I hope that the second is true because that gives him more options.

Interesting interview with Avicci's manager Ash. www.inthemix.com/news/54279/Aviciis_manager_Ash_Pournouri_talks_the_disaster_of_US_arena_tourA big part of the reason Avicci didn't do as well in the USA IMHO. Compare USA with Sweden in the chart and look at the MAS scores. geert-hofstede.com/united-states.html I doubt collective hand waving happens as easily in the USA as it does in parts of Europe, including Sweden. I'm thinking that in general, as a society, Americans are more geared to sticking out than fitting in and being a part of large group togetherness raves and doing arm waves. Might be a challenge for Avicci but they would be good for America. Primal group trance states are really good for the brain (Gaba release!). Dark Swedish winters are a perfect place for this kind of activity. U.S. needs to destress bigtime right now. We need more Avicci style simple happy trance play. I'm not so into the cocaine/ acid trip message of his bromance video. I'm guessing that goes hand in hand with this kind of club music. I confess I have always looked at house/club music it in the same way one might look on strip malls, mcDonalds and barbie dolls, lacking anything truly edifying. But I like Avicci's sound and I like seeing huge crowds of happy people jumping up and down. People need to have fun. I wonder if avicci would ever be a backing artist for another artist with performance chops on tour. (I don't know who? : )
