August 11, 2013 at 7:33 am Adam Lambert's unsure how far Queen collaboration will go The news that Adam Lambert’s collaboration with Queen will make a long-awaited U.S. debut next month begs the question: Is this becoming a long-term collaboration with founders Brian May and Roger Taylor? “I’m having a great time with Queen,” Lambert says in this video from Hooray Henry’s LA opening. “I don’t know; I think it’s really up to the guys.” Lambert first worked with Queen — stepping in for the late Freddie Mercury — back in 2009, during an appearance on American Idol. He then sang with Queen in 2011 at an MTV Europe video awards program, which led to a series of dates together last summer. Up next: An appearance at Las Vegas’ iHeartRadio Festival, set for September 20, 2013. Though Queen has appeared with other lead singers since Mercury’s passing in 1991 — notably Paul Rodgers — Lambert says he still entered into this musical partnership with no small amount of trepidation. May and Taylor, Lambert adds, helped smooth the way. “At first, it was a bit daunting, you know,” Lambert says. “These are big shoes to fill. Freddie Mercury is huge, a huge icon for me — an amazing vocalist, one of the best rock singers of all time. So, it was a little nerve-wracking in the beginning, but they’re such nice guys. They’re so friendly, and down to Earth. They were very warm, and that made me feel very confident.” Also includes The Show Must Go On Link: somethingelsereviews.com/2013/08/11/i-think-its-really-up-to-the-guys-adam-lambert-unsure-of-how-far-queen-collaboration-will-go/

The Voice Australia: Ricky Martin Eyes Return for another Year Down Under [PHOTOS] Like Jennifer Lopez, reality show judge and singer Ricky Martin is eyeing a comeback on The Voice, Australian edition, saying he is likely to sign a deal with the show’s officials for another year on the competition. The Latino singer has revealed that he is keen on sitting to The Voice judges’ panel for its upcoming season. Martin revealed the good news to his fans Down Under while making promotional for his upcoming tour in Australia and the release of his hit video, Come With Me. Interviewed by News.come.au, Ricky hinted that the negotiation is under way for his return to the show for another year. "We are working on that right now, I can't tell you yes or no but oh my God, I would love to do it again," Ricky was quoted as telling news.com.au by Take 40. During the interview, the singer gushes over his stay in Australia and raves about his great experience with Australia’s talents. "I don't mind spending another year in Australia, are you kidding me? Let's see what happens," Ricky also said, adding, "I felt now it was time to give back and help incredible talent take the next step in their career. The truth is they gave me so much. I felt humility working as a coach." Ricky’s career has again took off after his stint at The Voice Australia this year. If things go well as negotiated, it is highly likely that Australia will be seeing him again, soon. But now, the singer who propelled to superstardom in the mid-1990s is preparing for his upcoming tour, Greatest Hits, set to kick off in October 2013. Ricky is scheduled to perform at the NRL Grand Finals on Oct 6, 2013. The Voice Australia is now conducting auditions for Season 4. Other judges on the show Ricky will be joining include Delta Goodrem, Seal, Joel Madden, George Michael, Adam Lambert, Natalie Imbruglia, Ricky Martin and American Idol judge and rock singer Keith Urban.au.ibtimes.com/articles/498259/20130811/voice-australia-season-4-ricky-martin-celebrity.htm#.Ugeew5I4t8M

So Keith Urban is a "rock singer" ! lol
OK, you Australians...how does the Voice Australia work? When does it film, air....is it divided into "parts"? If true, sounds like Adam would be spending a chunk of time in Australia....the local Glamberts will freak. I could picture him judging on some of the Chinese reality shows as well...or any country that has Idol, The Voice, etc.
