The Roller Coaster Series : Day 108
PANIC !!
~ Me
And after all the boohoo's and woohoo's and tears and obscenities, the Internet came back a few hours later .
*collective sigh of relieve*
Well , first of all , the picture that Nile Rodgers tweeted , is just too beautiful . I can almost feel the "aura" of the song they're working on , based on that picture . (Well , not really , but you know I'm trying to be ~poetic)
But really , his face , he's so calm .... #Emotional , just like Nile said . Beautiful .
And Adam started following "Island Records" now .
Guys , I know I'm young , but I'm smart .
Adam CANNOT fly solo right now . He CANNOT do an "indie" album , and succeed . It's an OBESE chance . And he CANNOT have his own record label right now . Maybe in the future , but now right now . He ain't no Jay Z .
He NEEDS a BIG record label . (a record label that's smart and has a perfect marketing/promo strategy for Adam)
Yeah he's collaborating now , and it's good . But when the time comes and A3 has to be released , he needs a record label . RCA didn't know how to handle an artist like Adam . Because he is ~different .
Well , Gaga is weird too . Can you imagine Gaga playing it safe ? Name herself "Steffanie" and sing "safe" songs and have "safe" videos ? Where would she be ? NOWHERE .
Yet , she is on top of the world now . Because her record label knows how to market her . Can you imagine Gaga with RCA ? She'd be nowhere .
Enough ranting for now .
Well , just a little bit more :
Glitter Cows ?
What I know is : Calling someone , ANYONE , a "Cow" , is UNACCEPTABLE . It is bullying . and bullying is in no way acceptable .
~Says the girl who keeps bitching at people when she's mad .

Looking for something to read on a slow news day? Try this: www.danoah.com/2012/04/a-teens-brave-response.htmlA Teen's Brave Response to "I'm Christian, unless you're gay." "I received the following email today in response to my post I’m Christian, Unless You’re Gay. I had decided a couple months ago that it was time to let the whole thing rest, but this response was so powerful, I couldn’t not share it with you all. It was from a woman who simply called herself, “One proud mom.”"

Before we head down the slippery slope I just want to post a friendly reminder:
Adamtopia Guidelines
The Adamtopia guidelines are quite simple. To be a member of Adamtopia...
1. You must be an Adam fan.
2. You must be respectful of other members. Feel free to express your opinion, but be glitterier and golden.
3. Strive to be funny, entertaining or informative when you post. Avoid posting something that has already been posted.
4. Never question anyone's right to post, the appropriateness of a topic or define the proper way for an Adam fan or Adamtopia Member to behave. Let the moderators do their job.
Please note the highlight, lets not get into a "fan behavior" discussion. Thanks guys

I remember Dancing On Ice, but I thought it had been canceled. I guess not. Is it filmed in the US? The show you are thinking about was produced in Canada, I think, a couple of years ago. I don't believe there was a US version. I should probably wiki it rather than rely on my rather spotty memory. Sauli's show will be filming in Finland ... I think. I am doing more thinking than researching here. LOL. The U.S. show was Skating With the Stars, one season, Rebecca Budig won. It was similar to but was not based on Dancing on Ice; en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skating_with_the_Stars

I clicked on the link to the original essay too, and it gave me a lot to think about, since it talked not only about those who judge others for being gay, but also those who judge others for many other differences. It made me realize that I have a lot of room for improvement. Thank you for posting the link.

Why would an artist follow a record label that's not "associated" with him ? Eh ? It is Avicii's label and they have been tweeting about AFTEE and LMD. It is also run by Barry Weiss though, and as I said a few weeks ago... I would love for both he and Adam to have sweet revenge on RCA! BUT Adam also follows Interscope and has for a long time. I'm not saying he's not with Islands, but I think an Interscope label is more likely, to me anyway. It's going to be my sweet revenge as well . I remembered on his True Hollywood story, Barry Weiss said (paraphrase), "He has such a big of talent and we just have to make sure we know how to bottle it"

Anyway, good news for Sauli. More TV exposure leads to more work leads to more exposure... ETAI meant some of the stars didn't seem to skate very well. I'm not nervous for Sauli. He young, coordinated, and fit. I hope there will be some way to see him on the show.
