Thanks so much, adamrocks, Q3, and mys*&@^#r50!!! I will be going with my sister who loves Queen and likes Adam a lot (just not a stan) and this will be the first time she sees either live. She was supposed to go with me to London but her DH wouldn't let her coz she was preggo. Now she will be able to go, but just for that one night coz DH doesn't want to be taking care of the baby by himself for more than a day. I have no responsibilities so would have loved to stay the whole weekend.  ETA: I really want to thank the people on this board who told us all about these package deals and related info like the prices each hotel was charging and what sections were available. I was going to wait until prices went down but who knows if I would have even ended up going. I think this is a whole lot better. Thanks again!!! You'll have a blast! Virg virg1877 26mIG users. Make sure you turn off 'add to photo map' when uploading pics when you don't want your location mapped (IE your home address)

Question. Do people hang around the venue to see if the performers pass through or sound check? I don't want to look like I'm stalking but my sis who I am going to Vegas with is making plans for us to go hiking in Red Rock. Since she is picking up the room with her timeshare, I have to appear to want to do other things than stalk AFL. We need to plan a dinner or fan activity.

I just finished watching that BBC Bowie documentary and we always knew Bowie was a huge mentor of Adam's rock sensibility but that really brings it home...that and Velvet Goldmine! It makes you realize that Adam is cut from the Bowie cloth and needs to break out to really make it. He is simply to extraordinary to tread the mundane steps.
I would love to see him employ/partner with his Zodiak tribe and really create and take a show on the road.....I can't imagine any other iteration of his spirit that would be more authentic and monumental. Can you just imagine!!???

SO EXCITED! IM GOING TO IHEART RADIO CONCERT! Just had to share. As you can see, I'm kind of happy about it! So excited for you Lynne. Son must have come thru for you. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice to have a son in the music business. Again, it was so nice to meet you and spend some time with you. Yes., he came through for me. So excited! I figure it is my reward for years of various bands practicing in my garage, lol. I have to say, he still owes the neighbors. Nice to meet you, too, Smokey! |
