Hi, all. Just in case anyone wants to catch up on Glee before the 9/26 premiere, FOX is re-broadcasting episodes from last season on Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. (7:00 CT); or, you can watch all of them on Hulu.com. An episode called "Lights Out" was shown last night. In the NY part of the show, there was a really lovely sequence that I thought you might enjoy. Isabelle (played by Sara Jessica Parker), Kurt's boss at vogue.com, asks Kurt, Santana and Rachel to help her at a fund-raiser for a ballet company. All four begin to reminisce about taking ballet lessons as children and what those lessons meant to them. They then segue into a song called "At the Ballet" from the show "A Chorus Line". I think the whole sequence is really lovely, but I could find only the song performance on YouTube. Hope you enjoy it! (P.S. Trivia: Sara Jessica Parker was in the original Broadway production of "Annie". She studied singing and ballet when she was a child, so this episode of Glee was certainly a case of art imitating life.)
Thanks, Iridium! I've never watched Glee (looks over shoulder...safe for now..whew), but this gives me a thrill of what vocal possibilities Adam might have on this program. Singing Adam, acting Adam, dancing Adam..the Trifecta! 3 new songs! What a studio session!! Adam's had himself quite the experience in NYC! Good for him! Agreed, Mzsue! For everyone who has been so helpful to point out the bitch who wouldn't stop yakking, thanks a bunch..I wasn't paying any attention to her and now she is ALL I can hear. damnit. ![]()

I just finished a long day's work. Came over to ATop -- finally! Saw only 7 pages and thought, "Oh I guess there is nothing exciting today." And then I got to page 4!!!!!!!!!

ETA: melliemom I most respectfully disagree but no one puts Adam in a niche -- that is what RCA tried to do -- big, big mistake. Nile recognizes Adam's talent and maybe can help him figure out how to commercially harness it. Avicii seemed very impressed with Adam and clearly likes him -- but who isn't? |
