Why are we assuming Adam doesn't have a label? ??? we're not. Just playing what if. do you think it would be bad if he did not or would there be an advantage?

IMHO,If the label works in Adam's INTEREST professionally and financially then a big label would be great. Are there labels that do that for their artists?? Maybe a good lawyer with a well read/written contract would be key..Scary stuff signing on that dotted line.

I just finished a long day's work. Came over to ATop -- finally! Saw only 7 pages and thought, "Oh I guess there is nothing exciting today." And then I got to page 4!!!!!!!!! Tim Bergling @avicii Amazing 3 days in the studio with @nilerodgers @adamlambert @mysteryskulls ! 3 brand new songs that are sounding insane !ETA: melliemom I most respectfully disagree but no one puts Adam in a niche -- that is what RCA tried to do -- big, big mistake. Nile recognizes Adam's talent and maybe can help him figure out how to commercially harness it. Avicii seemed very impressed with Adam and clearly likes him -- but who isn't? I think we are not on the same page with the Niche word..To me,in this case, not a box,but a a group of artists like himself.. talented ,modest and giving.. I'm speaking of emotional & professsional maturity, not signing him up to a certain type of music or art..IMHO, He has not always been accepted by a sometimes self centered and not overly generous pop world. We know very little of what happen with other collaborations but he seems to have had a great working relationship with most of his collaborators -- and many have discussed it openly or on Twitter. I think Adam has been accepted by many of the top producers, musicians and songwriters in the business. The gap has been on acceptance from a broad audience. Regarding this group of 4 artists -- we know very little about what is going on -- we just have some tweets and photos from 3 of the best self-promoters in the music business: Nile, Adam and Avicii. I this we are getting to see what they want us to see. On the word "niche" -- it means a small, narrowly defined space. I see you mean something different, but I see Adam as someone who does not want to be in one space or one artistic space or work with one set of collaborators.

Why are we assuming Adam doesn't have a label? ??? I am assuming he does not have a major label contract because if there was a signed deal, there would be a press release. It could easily take 6 months to strike a new deal -- sometimes artist take a year -- particularly if they just came out of a less than perfect label relationship -- AKA new RCA. I really am sure that DMG has this one covered. ETA: Adam has been working with one of the best law firms in the business. No reason to think he would get stupid and not work with them now. *** Here is a short link for the beard GIF goo.gl/AwBKmX
