Three and a half hours of TV on mute! Three and a half hours of jumping around various camera streams. Reward: watching Adam watching JT! - priceless Reward: watching Adam on that stage - priceless.
My DS figured it out, he looked at me and said: "is Lambert doing something there?"...
I am really tired...

HOW can that gorgeous creature just stand there and not one person approached him to engage in a conversation?!? I felt so bad watching him, studying his shoes.......they had him back there for a really long time....he could have stepped up on stage from his seat and done the same fabulous job. And I felt the same as some expressed up thread......watching Adam, Nile must have been thinking "WTF is wrong with this picture!?" Bring on Queenbert! They will put most of the acts we saw tonight to shame!

But it was odd watching Adam and Emilie in the talent lounge....[why don't they call it the green room?]...she seemed to almost studiously ignore him..he had that open look he has but even as they were 'herded' to the next holding tank, she did not look at him or connect at all. I was wondering how they would look on stage...she was definitely only smiling because there were cameras...that she knew about. Which brings up another thing....do the stars etc not realize they are on camera when they are primping and preening between 'acts'...thinking especially Gaga here but other's too. It is interesting.... Adam was in the lounge twice. The first time he was talking to Emilie and the lady next to her (with big hair). All three were very engaged and friendly and laughed together. Adam was wisked away somewhere. He came back to the lounge a few minutes later - that's when he watched JT, etc. He did not interact with Emilie this time around....

OK Thanks Nica...I missed that...that is good as it looked really odd and a little awkward [or would have looked that way if Adam weren't so naturally 'present' all the time].

It is interesting.... What I notice is how Adam relates to everyone. The big guys as well as staff - the little gal trying to herd people over the red carpet as well as the coordinator in the talent lounge. So proud to be his fan. And Nile is right - one day the world will know...

I think Adam was respecting her space while she had her neckline adjusted a bit and more make- up applied..

YAY for the Tony Awards.. I agree with the post about Adam being at that show...although he's not on Broadway. Such a classy ,talented bunch.
This show had It's good moments, but for the most part some of it was down right deplorably low class to the max.. i'm looking at Miley,Robin, comic ,whoever he is...

I thought it was not bad for an award show. The music overpowered the voices in many of the acts. I liked JT, Ryan and Macklemore, Bruno and Katy.
I think what made it 'not bad' was no performance from Beiber, Selena, Nicki Minaj, JZ, JLo or Pitbull who usually dominate these shows and bore me.
Adam looked great but I think that facial hair detracts from his beautiful eyes.

They will put most of the acts we saw tonight to shame! It is pretty typical to leave people alone while they are backstage before they go on. I am sure Adam is used to it. And Emile Sande seems to have had something to deal with regarding her mike placement. The socializing happens after the show -- and off camera.
