Adam looked stunning:)
I loved JT, Bruno, Maclklemore & Ryan Lewis and Katy.
I HATED GaGa and Miley.
Worth watching to see Adam.

I didn't watch it. Couldn't subject myself to it for just a snippet of Adam not singing, when I knew I would get pics and YTs of the event. Reading your reactions, I think I made the right decision. I shake my head in wonder at what passes for entertainment and "cool" these days. Showing my age? I have to keep telling myself that this is the pond Adam has chosen to swim in. This is the scene that Adam wants to be a part of. I don't get it, but, I don't have to. His life. His career path.
For me? I would much have preferred to see him at the Tony Awards. That show was entertainment, talent, and wit. Different strokes for different folks. Sigh.

show was boring.bordering on crappy. JT was just so-so, was it the sound system? Still, there were talented folks there and Adam getting to present is a big deal when you think of all the people that could be asked. Hopefully the after parties are better than the show! night all

Just saw the Miley clip---maybe the worst thing I have ever seen. Talk about desperate. I never know what to expect with Adam; half the time I'm not crazy about his look. But, tonight he was perfection. Absolutely gorgeous (even with the mustache) Now, can the universe align and we get an Adam/Emilie duet? Please! Well they did look good together.  I would love a duet by them. *** ETA: But Adam is in the right place tonight. And IMO this was his best and most confident award show presentation so far. |

I turned off my TV as soon as Adam presenting the award... ohh.. so did Blurred Lines get anything? NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and I'll just add, he sounds awful live! ![]() |

But it was odd watching Adam and Emilie in the talent lounge....[why don't they call it the green room?]...she seemed to almost studiously ignore him..he had that open look he has but even as they were 'herded' to the next holding tank, she did not look at him or connect at all. I was wondering how they would look on stage...she was definitely only smiling because there were cameras...that she knew about.
Which brings up another thing....do the stars etc not realize they are on camera when they are primping and preening between 'acts'...thinking especially Gaga here but other's too. It is interesting....

I really like to think that all kinds of people watching the show had an "omg, Adam Lambert looks so good, he's gonna be on 'Glee' I heard . . . " reaction. I was hoping the same thing! As I mentioned earlier in the thread, this is the best I've ever seen Adam look and he was just drop-dead gorgeous tonight. I hope he gets a best-dressed nod like he did for the Grammy's. Just saw this tweet: Sarah Holmes @sarahholmes97 1m So I used to hate Adam Lambert but I kinda love him now! Hope the change of heart was due to how good he looked and came across tonight. |
