Adam Lambert @adamlambert Also- the @macklemore performance was really heartfelt. Right to the heart. So glad this message is being spread in the mainstream.
I don't understand why they had Jennifer Hudson come on at the end of this song. It was fine without her. Wish things were such that Adam could have joined in and sang 'He keeps me warm...". Now that would have made a statement!

You've got to be kidding. Nothing special about JT's outfit at all. Adam's was so unique. Who the heck else could pull off a silk jacquard suit and those funky shoes? And although I liked JT's performance yesterday and think he's very talented, I've never thought he was an attractive man. In fact, hate to be mean, but I remember seeing a picture of him and Adam together and I remember thinking how much better looking Adam was than he was. Judge for yourself. ETA: As you can tell, I am getting really pissed off on how Adam is being ignored or treated badly. First T & L, now GQ, both who have treated Adam like crap. I need to take some deep breaths and think karma, karma. I don't think Adam needs both of them to make it in his career, since he's not a model or not. Adam's fashion style is forward and not for everybody and not many people can wear what he wears and look absolutely amazing. He wore his Lanvin suit with that unusual Singapore designer shoes. It works for him but don't think it will work for others. I know that but we're talking about a music awards show with mostly musicians where clearly Adam stood out as being one the best dressed. There were some guys that looked like a mess, like Jared Leto and the guy with him in a plaid shirt. Wasn't Pharell wearing cut-off shorts? I am just surprised that Adam is picked out by T & L and criticized for everything - his hair, his shoes, his jewelry, his shirt, his makeup (when he was hardly wearing any), etc. Seems like there were tons of other men there that deserved far more criticism than Adam. And we're talking VMAs, where I thought people were supposed to dress outrageous. I really think those guys have some kind of agenda, like a hatred for Glamberts. And as you saw their picture, they ain't anything looks-wise or dress-wise. I am surprised they were fashion bloggers.

He was there as a singer, not a gay singer. And that is a good thing. ETA: But I was really a bit pissed off that JHud was there taking away from Mary Lambert's big moment. Mary Lambert is 10000% more of an artist and talent than JHud. I am a huge fan and was "who that fuck is that black singer and what is she doing up there?" The I figured out who she was. (Sorry to bitch!)

Always said the Luke rumor was BS due to his Sony ties! JMHO -- I think this is a face-saving excuse. If you watch any video of Dr. Luke, he is very nice but very low key. He really would not be good on TV. Somehow he managed to work this out with Sony... KATY PERRY Roar (3:42) Producers: Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Cirkut Writers: Katy Perry, Lukasz Gottwald, Max Martin, Bonnie McKee, Henry Walter Publishers: various Capitol Records (Universal Music Group) And at least 6 other UMG artist's tracks in 2013 and I did not search very far. So Max Martin's still making music. I wonder why Adam doesn't work with Max again ???

I'm not going to take T&L opinion seriously anymore after I've seen the way they dress up. I don't even want to read what they said. Seriously.. people with their fashion style's criticizing about other people??

(Sorry to bitch!) Q3, I was thinking the same thing about Adam giving an award and there was nothing about GAY...just about music. I thought JHud came off as pretty much "full of herself" on the Red Carpet. IMHO when she sings with others she comes off as trying to upstage everybody. When she started singing with Mary Lambert I thought WTF...why is she up there?

There is a rumor that Max Martin did not actually work on Roar but has some arrangement with Dr. Luke for certain production and writing credit shares. That may or may not be true. One this is pretty certain, Bonnie McKee and Henry Walter (he also co-wrote BTIKM) wrote and copyrighted a song called ROAR; the other three co-writers were added later and probably did little of the actual songwriting.
