I've never heard of this Tom and Lorenzo. So i can't be too upset about them. Now GQ, that upset me.
Sometimes I need to remember that men (gay men, straight men) can be much more catty than women. I've always found women to be be much more supportive of me than other men. Women always complement me on my clothes, men almost never do.
There has to be a reason that men generally are more comfortable with male singers and entertainers who are average or just a bit above in the looks department. Average is not threatening.
Gay men are a bit different, of course. They like good-looking men. They mostly like good-looking straight men or at least "straight-acting" as their fantasy figures. But a good-looking gay man is seen as competition.
So Adam as an "openly gay" man of exceptional looks may always have a problem with men, or some men. If and when Adam can get men to focus on his music, then he will expand his audience. Radio is not a visual medium. Looks, good or bad, don't get in the way. That's why I think radio play is so important to Adam.

I don't think Adam needs both of them to make it in his career, since he's not a model or not. Adam's fashion style is forward and not for everybody and not many people can wear what he wears and look absolutely amazing. He wore his Lanvin suit with that unusual Singapore designer shoes. It works for him but don't think it will work for others. I know that but we're talking about a music awards show with mostly musicians where clearly Adam stood out as being one the best dressed. There were some guys that looked like a mess, like Jared Leto and the guy with him in a plaid shirt. Wasn't Pharell wearing cut-off shorts? I am just surprised that Adam is picked out by T & L and criticized for everything - his hair, his shoes, his jewelry, his shirt, his makeup (when he was hardly wearing any), etc. Seems like there were tons of other men there that deserved far more criticism than Adam. And we're talking VMAs, where I thought people were supposed to dress outrageous. I really think those guys have some kind of agenda, like a hatred for Glamberts. And as you saw their picture, they ain't anything looks-wise or dress-wise. I am surprised they were fashion bloggers. I was thinking it's funny that two such average, bland-looking guys are criticizing someone who looks jaw-droppingly gorgeous. I mean I've been looking at these pics all day and my jaw still drops and I think how can he be soo beautiful. But they think they have advice on how he could look better. Whatever T&L.

That's why I think radio play is so important to Adam. I also was annoyed by GQ. But that is a weird list -- it is good, bad and odd all mixed up. And there is no chance JT was the best dressed. NONE! I think that Matt Serba did not see Adam's photo and appears to be working from post event photos -- vs. watching the event. BUT Matt also wrote these 2 gems.... In Defense of Robin Thicke's Beetlejuice Suit Read More www.gq.com/style/blogs/the-gq-eye/2013/08/in-defense-of-robin-thickes-beetlejuice-suit.html#ixzz2d8sbIB9l>> There is no defense for that suit. Cheap fabric, poorly tailored. About Drake's VMA Performance Tank... >> A seriously ugly garment worn by Drake who usually is pulled together. IF ADAM DOES NOT MAKE FASHION POLICE, I will be really mad. Other than that, I do not care too much. *** NEW THREAD IS UP.

I WONDER WHY THEY TOOK OUT ADAMS PART IN THE VMA REPEAT??? :| It was part of the first replay. But they cut the show down to 2:05 and 2:00 and cut out some of the awards to make it fit. I do not think it has anything to do with Adam and Emile Sande but that was a minor award and Austin Mahone's acceptance speech was mind numbingly stupid. Maybe RCA begged them to delete it. ETA: Austin was just signed by RCA.

It's hard to be confronted with this first thing in my morning. My whole day will now be spent sneaking peeks as often as possible. How is it possible EVERYONE is not keeling over before the beauty and talent of this amazing being?
