MTV Buzzworthy @mtvbuzzworthy OMFG! Royal Kween @iggyazalea eating cake AND chicken wings IN HER SEAT at the VMAs! ow.ly/ojYcj THANK YOU, @adamlambert IGGY AZALEA @iggyazalea @mtvbuzzworthy @adamlambert Lmao While Everyone Was Busy Schmoozing At The VMAs, Iggy Azealea Was Eating Cake + Photobombing Harry Styles While Eating Chicken Wings by John Walker Iggy Azalea eating cake in the VMA audience is, like, the physicalized embodiment of our new life mantra.Although we'd love to fancy ourselves VMA-ready, we're not sure we could handle it. Looking super haute and poised front of all those painfully attractive stars, not spilling glasses of wine down our couture ensembles -- IMPOSSIBLE. That's why we're ob-sessed with this photo of Iggy Azalea going to "Work" on a slice of red velvet cake like she's us at a birthday party... or riding the subway... or at a funeral -- OK, we bring cake everywhere, but that's not the point! Stop derailing. The Artist To Watch nominee's duh-leesh-uss "me time" was captured by Adam Lambert, who Instagrammed the priceless pic and captioned, "Red velvet diva @iggyazalea I had to snap a shot..." LOVE IT. We're gonna use that "foodie diva" moniker the next time someone tries to shame us about our #NotCute food choices. Lorna Doones and tub of cake frosting diva! Un-microwaved Hot Pocket because we're tiiiiiiired diva! Tracking down anything resembling crackers in the house so we can dip it in a bowl of Sriracha and mayo diva! Nope? Not working? B'awww. But wait! Cake was only the first course... more..

Btw , Was Adamtopia up and running (Well , I guess it was PF at that time) When the AMA's happened ? How many pages did the thread go ? LOL !! And , whether it was up and running , or not , how was YOUR reaction (After the initial "WTAF just happened" moment) .
I wasn't a Glambert back then , So I didn't watch live . And when I googled Adam Lambert , read thru his Wiki page , read about the controversy of that performance , and THEN I watched it on youtube .
I didn't get to experience the "Shock" . I already knew what he did cuz I read it on Wikipedia first , LOL .
So , Glamberts who experienced the live thing , what was your HONEST first reaction ?
(We all love Adam here , we are All Glambert , and we are a Glamily . Share your true feelings here , nobody is gonna judge)

it is such BS that Miley gets all the crap, and Robin Thicke gets none of it, with the ridiculous suit (I guess that was the point), and as many have pointed out Miley did not write the lyrics, where is the outrage about that. Robin is aging quickly with all his cig. smoking.

Not because of the staging, the sexual moves, the guys on leashes, the kiss, the crotch grab, etc. They had been promoting the performance as being shocking and outrageous. It seemed less so to me than several other performances that evening. At least the staging fit the lyrics of the song. No, I cringed because the singing was ....... I was going to write "bad" but, most of it wasn't, compared to other singers. But he had some pitch problems and it was not up to his usual standards. I so wanted people to be blown away by his voice that I was worried. Funny thing, wasn't worried at all about the staging. Turns it, no one but Adam commented on the singing.

Kamar, the AMAs were how I found Adam. It was the first time I ever saw him. I don't like American Idol and had never watched it. I got a huge big laugh out of this kid from American Idol getting off his leash and blowing up a network TV show with a gay burlesque number. Then I felt sorry for him because so many people were picking on him and savaging him in the press and it didn't seem fair. I also thought he was good looking, and I was charmed by the way he and his mom came across in the fallout that followed the performance. I decided to find out if there was more to him and found that there was.

That tweet you're referring to Kamar was something else . . . If you switch the pronouns to "she" and imagine it being sent to a famous lesbian celebrity from a man . . . I think it's possible what Adam found "amazing" was how clueless and maybe offensive it was (albeit unintentionally). I don't know. (I really hope he tweets you, too.) I found it interesting that he chose to retweet this tweet following his remarks about Miley's performance review. Who was more offensive??? I don't know Adam, but suspect he takes all the advances and suggestions in stride. Whether he appreciates or likes it ?? Don't know. Did you see him take a step back in that New York after party video from the woman who yelled "You're so F...ing sexy!" He almost backed into Dana.

You are right Adam did not sing like he usually sings . I remember he said in an interview that there was sound problem . He sang better than 90% of the singers there , tho .
