9.2.13 Labor Day Weekend Fun! Green Shirt Contest!!!

I had to share with my DH what the hubbub on ATOP was today and show him a some of the pictures of Adam with Green Shirt. It is actually a shirt I could see him in. and it even has a pocket!

After chronicling the times Adam wore it and that we keep track of it, his comment was "Poor guy, he will probably never wear that shirt again." I know that won't stop Adam from wearing it, cause obviously he likes it-and he looks good it in it. My favorite pic is the recent shot with him wearing the fedora cradling the pooch.

I knew immediately that Adam had fallen and I was panic-stricken that he would fall off the structure,right down onto the floor-where he could have been terribly hurt! All this went through my mind in mini seconds as I watched his performance that night.I couldn't believe how he managed to go on as if nothing had happened {this is where his years of stage performances and training kicked in} and was able to keep the mike in his hand and continue singing. I was so relieved that he didn't fall to the floor that I almost didn't care about anything else at that point.
In a subsequent interview when Adam was discussing the fall,he said that his knee was throbbing in pain but he knew he had to keep going-and we all know the rest of the story.Wow, you guys are really bringing back some scary memories for me! Bottom line, Adam is a professional, has been on stage since he was a little boy here in San Diego and has certainly paid his dues. He wasn't "discovered" on AI as so many continue to believe. That platform simply gave him world- wide recognition.

Cheriemelissa, I have to comment on your post because I wasn´t able to post when Kamar asked about our feelings about the AMA performance. I was really scared when he fell down, I noticed it was a fall, and I was totally amazed when he kept singing, but his attitude changed. Being the perfectionist he is, he was really furious about this fall, and for me, what happened after was his reaction to the fall. He did not want people talking about it, so he took a different route, for people to talk about it and not about the fall. This was my hypothesis. I really don´t know how he kept singing. He must have been in pain physically and mentally. I really did not care about what he did, I was worried about the fall. Then, when I started reading the comments, I just wanted to cry, and I did.

the top left picture - looks like it is Adam in the red hat! The sculptures are from is this years Burning Man. DO we think he visited BM or just liking the pictures?
