Have no idea how his acting would be. But i think he would do fine & he is a quick learner. I just think it would be a horrible career move for him. Would love to see him sing the theme song though!! My thoughts exactly!! |

It seems to me that the singing in a movie about Freddie should be Freddie's voice. That is what Freddie's fans would want, wouldn't they? Actors dub songs all the time (except in Les Miz). If some singing is needed where they don't have Freddie's recordings available, an imitator (Marc Martel) could provide what's needed. Any other singer trying to imitate Freddie through the whole movie would not measure up, especially for diehard fans, who will be a major part of the audience. Since Adam is not about to imitate Freddie, I don't think he would want any part of this. JMHO. Johnny Depp is my choice. IMO, singing voice in Freddie's movie will definitely use Freddie's voice. It's a movie about Freddie Mercury and he's famous for his vocal. As much as Brian & Roger love Adam, I don't think they will ask or suggest Adam to play Freddie and I also don't think Adam will want to do it. So it's a BIG NO NO!! I'm all for Johnny Depp for the actor. |
