I don't think Adam can look like Freddie . The actor must at least have some similarity , right ? I mean physically . They can do anything with makeup, teeth, etc. Look at Johnny Depp. |

I don't think Adam can look like Freddie . The actor must at least have some similarity , right ? I mean physically . They can do anything with makeup, teeth, etc. Look at Johnny Depp. Agree. I don't think the physical appearance means much. Of course the actor that plays Freddie can't be short & fat ![]() but Adam is close enough that he could really pull it off. However - the actor will have to carry practically the entire picture and I just don't think Adam has the acting experience for that. He has lots of stage experience but that's pretty different from close-up/intimate acting in films. This is one idea I'm not going to even entertain. So much speculation has come to zero so this one is off the table for me. |

Have no idea how his acting would be. But i think he would do fine & he is a quick learner. I just think it would be a horrible career move for him. Would love to see him sing the theme song though!!

I love this poem...it has so many memories for me. My DH was a fighter pilot; he went thru pilot training in Arizona and every night after the late news they would play a video of a fighter plane doing all the things this poem talks about while a man with the most wonderful voice would recite this poem...it still chokes me up...but I have to admit I was just a tiny bit envious of my DH when I watched (although I don't really like to fly).
Love the new Adam version too!!!

It seems to me that the singing in a movie about Freddie should be Freddie's voice. That is what Freddie's fans would want, wouldn't they? Actors dub songs all the time (except in Les Miz). If some singing is needed where they don't have Freddie's recordings available, an imitator (Marc Martel) could provide what's needed. Any other singer trying to imitate Freddie through the whole movie would not measure up, especially for diehard fans, who will be a major part of the audience. Since Adam is not about to imitate Freddie, I don't think he would want any part of this. JMHO. Johnny Depp is my choice. |
