No news today!

There is no news today. In the past when Adam has been quiet like this, and he has been very quiet lately, something has been going on that we do not know about. My guess is that he is working on something because he when he is "out-and-about" we get tweets, photos and video.
And we are getting surprisingly few bits of anything. All we know is that he is in LA, and listening to music.
Adam and Freddie

It is hard not to occasionally see a bit of Freddie in Adam. Freddie Mercury created the iconic image of the rock showman and he has influenced the stagecraft, poses, and fashion of rock music -- even 30 years later.
Freddie donned spandex cat suits, fur, feathers, leather, glitter and sequins, and brought many elements of musicals and the stage to rock. He was not the only glam-rock/hard-rock artist to strut on stage, but he did it with authenticity and joy and unbounded self-confidence. Many others artists did it as a stunt or tongue-in-check. Freddie knew it was a show.
Adam would be Adam with or without his association with Queen. And Adam would have much in common with Freddie -- creative, cross-genre artists with a commanding presence on stage -- even if he never hear Freddie sing or know who he was. But I do not believe Adam would have the same visual and vocal vocabulary if Freddie's performance style and voice was not a pervasive part of modern rock music.
No they are not the same. No I am not interested in comparing the two artists. All I know is that they both had me at "Mama...."
