A far more intriguing prospect than most of his superstar DJ peers, the 23-year-old has roped in everyone from Chic legend Nile Rodgers to American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert for his long-awaited debut.

In honor of Freddie's Birthday, I'll use this occasion and let folks know that during these somewhat quieter times, I have begun spending more time in the Queen discussion thread lately. I was there at the beginning, but then just did not have the time to keep up with it, while it grew and grew and grew. adamtopia.com/thread/996/queen-discussion-threadThe wealth of information that Talon has assembled there is just absolutely astounding. We have a Queen concert coming up, and while that is surely mostly focused on the mega hits, I have really enjoyed taking in an album at-a-time and walking through the songs, then reading what Talon has given us as information and then, on many occasions after that, I have re-listened again and again. I appreciate so many things so much more now, that I did a few years ago. And I am still quite a bits away from the end of the thread, which is the good news, because I love it there. Just want to give a big shout-out to Talon, whose work obviously would never exist without our birthday child, and I am looking forward to any Queen collaborations to come (I am assuming also that they are on stage or disc and not on film, lol). Freddie's voice was unique, full-bodied and yet light and crystal clear in the upper register, a brilliant and yet raw voice, with tons of variety in it. Freddie was playful while singing, he had fun on stage. He had a resonance that echoed not only through a stadium, but that can be heard as intensity on his recordings as well as live performances. And in all that, obviously, he reminds me and at the same time does not remind me of Adam, which is fascinating, given that I pretty much could write all of the above about Adam too, and yet their voices are so different. I guess, that's what it means to be truly unique. So, if you are looking for a place to read, while it's slow going on the daily thread, come join me and play.

Seriously....they didn't go there...guess they needed hits! ⓣⓤⓚⓔ @tuke18 6mDuh. ???? RT glamnika81: Who Is More Swoon-Worthy? starcrush.com/adam-lambert-phillip-phillips-swoon-off/#pd_a_7370715 … ADAM LAMBERT VS. PHILLIP PHILLIPS – SWOON-OFF
With an alumni list that includes Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and Jordin Sparks, there’s no doubt that ‘American Idol‘ knows how to make a star. Two of the reality show’s most successful singers are also known for being very easy on the eyes. Who do you think is more swoon-worthy: Adam Lambert or Phillip Phillips? Known for his theatrical performance style, Adam Lambert wowed judges in the eighth season of ‘Idol.’ Although he didn’t win the competition, the ‘Whataya Want From Me’ singer earned a Grammy nod and will be appearing in the upcoming season of ‘Glee.’ Phillip Phillips took home the title in the eleventh season of ‘American Idol’ and his first single, ‘Home,’ became the top-selling coronation song of all time! In the year since his win, Phillip has been busy opening for acts like John Mayer and Matchbox 20. Which ‘Idol’ star do you want to serenade you? Vote in the poll below! Adam Lambert 92.52% Phillip Phillips 7.48%
