Check out my thoughts on #LayMeDown here: bit.ly/17VXc7d @ixdaily With the rise of disco inspired tracks surfacing across radio airwaves, it's no surprise that artists are latching on to the success of 70's throwback tunes (Get Lucky, Blurred Lines, etc...). With pop radio embracing different genres (albeit slowly, I'm being positively optimistic here), we are seeing unique and seriously unexpected collaborations. Avicii shocked the EDM world with his country inspired track previews at Ultra, and for good reason. I was not thrilled in the slightest with what he shared back in March and feared that he made a grave mistake. I fully admit now that I was wrong... so... who is singing in Avicii - Wake Me Up. If they made the people a little bit more conservative this could have been filmed where I live!

I've always loved this one, "It's totally cool when two chicks make out everyone is amused / I just put my crotch in my dancer's face and it got on the news" is so clever :-XAnd "I'm singing about a dude but they won't let me show the dude (heyyy!)" Also that Miley one is great I love these guys |
