My thoughts on Glee rumor. It probably has some truth to it. MJ's spoilers are usually right. That being said, I "TRUST A BITCH." I also trust DMG. I have no doubt they would have negotiated role approval. So, the drag queen will have some big twist that we can't even imagine! How about a straight guy having to play a drag queen just to survive in NY. Now he has his first big audition for a straight role and it is in competition with Kurt. Heck, it'd be like Adam playing 2 roles!! "DOUBLE TROUBLE" i am not the least bit worried. Adam and DMG have worked hard on his image! They are not going to screw it up now!! ![]() Just de-lurkng to post my thoughts on recent events. Before I do that, though, I want to say how much I enjoy the pictures, gifs, and stories from all the fabulous posters on this thread. Just awesome! When I first heard the Glee rumor, my heart sank! I know Adam needs to appeal to the mainstream, hetero crowd, and I'm thinking, just how is this type of TV appearance going to do that? But I DO believe in Adam and his management. I have been amazed at just how good they have been with helping him; flabbergasted, really. So I agree with @mys*&@^#r50. I am trusting that it is all good and will be attention-grabbing for Adam....in a good way. |

Agent said they will be releasing more and the normal time is about 9:45 to 10am pst. and they were face value!!!Number is on my speed dial now Do we want to have a buy whatever is there when you can and then divey up by lots here on Atop or is that too difficult? YES YES YES.....there are some of us in Canada that can't win anything so our only chance is something like this....PLEASE!!! |

I have tickets from StubHub for Friday night and just called the MGM. Was told that they can't sell Saturday tickets unless you have or make a room reservation at the Grand. I checked Ticketmaster first and the website doesn't say sold out but when you enter any number of tickets, nothing meets the criteria. Guess I'll try again tomorrow otherwise will find another show for Saturday night. Try again NOW!!! You may get another agent. I got tickets through MGM # 10 min ago & I am not staying at Mgm. Told them I am staying at Excalibur. Maybe they own that too. You can tell them you are rooming with me. GOT IT! GOT IT! Thanks so much... another agent never asked where I was staying (Hilton with a good rate). Maybe cause I only wanted one ticket as well... My friend for Friday night is leaving on Saturday. So Friday I'm in Lower 10, row R (early Merry Christmas to me!) and Saturday is Section 204, Row B, Seat 25. I'd MUCH rather have the better seat for Friday!!!!!! |

Delurking to add my two cents to the drag queen rumor. My initial reaction was bad idea because Adam gets to much flack over wearing makeup and what some see as feminine clothes. On more consideration, I think there is a huge plus for the idea namely IMO it would garner him a huge amount of attention with lots a press and possibly talk show interviews. It would make his character very memorable and compelling to watch. Also no way is he going to be in drag all the time. I imagine the DMG knows what an asset his striking handsomeness is to his career, and will not waste a chance to have it on full display on a popular TV show. Another bonus for many fans,(not me though)is that drag queens never ever have beards. This. Drag queen is GREAT for all the reasons you list. My nightmare scenario would be Adam playing himself, or Adam as the handsome, nice singer/teacher/love interest. That would be SO boring, esp for Glee. I know it's just a rumor, but now I have my heart set on drag queen :D Going thru the thread with 'Lay Me Down' in my head. EYOW!!! It's great. This response stopped me dead in my tracks. evamaria and Jean1010, I totally agree!! I hope Adam will do exactly what he chooses to do - - - a role as a drag queen would just continue the dialogue he is creating by unapologetically being who he is. IF he were to be a drag queen on GLEE, his role would undoubtedly bring notice to this performance art. I expect that the humanness, the sameness and realness we find in one another would fit in there, too. A feast for thought. Adam is in love with creativity; out-of-the-box imagination, fashion, dressing up, pretending, 'walking that walk like you don't give a fuck' - but, of course, he does give a fuck. About being real; about exposing the underside of our fantasies; about looking at that face in the mirror. If it costs him fans, I bet he won't look back. There's a great deal of 'reality shock value' in everything Adam has proposed to do or done in the past - from flames on his head to the cover of FYE to the performance on the AMAs to the fellacio of his microphone and masturbating Tommy's guitar in GNT. It's been in my face and I've devoured it; and I want more. My opinion is that 'management' encouraged Adam to temper these creative larks - and where did that land him the past two years? This man is meant to be risky, bold, fluorescent, and very, very real to himself. That's what drew this moth to the flame. Adam said "Don't do what I do; do what YOU do" - and I will. I admit, though, that the inspiration, courage, and friendly 'fuck you' attitude he embodies has been my catalyst to be brave, adventurous, and think there's still room - and time - to change and be better. Bring on that Drag Queen, Adam! I ready to begin my next course in Life 101. |

Adam Lambert is seriously crazy hot in drag. Hot feminine. Hot masculine. I think he should go for it. But, I think he should go for seriously classic hot showing off his miles of leg, rather than overdone vamp, to the point where very few can tell. Let people figure it out after a few minutes.
After that episode he should do a hyper masculine photoshoot. Just to shake people up a little more : )
He is bigger than he was when he did the drag in the pink dress. But.... no doubt Adam can do a VERY pretty girl.
