Lucky you!!!!!!!!!!!!. I'm jealous, but happy you get to go and see Queen and Adam...it's magical. I am assuming you have a ticket also. My hubby will in Vegas at that time, but not attending. I wish it were the other way around, me there, him home. Yes. I have resisted until now because I saw them twice in London -- but I did not have the will power to stay away! And OMG OMG OMG I am on the FLOOR! I am insane but happy. Oh Q3, you are very lucky woman. After Poland's and London's concerts, I swore, that the next time, wherever Queen and Adam will perform, I will go and see the show. I am sad that my dream was not realized . But I'm happy for you, who are traveling to Vegas!

Yes we need fan name and I would appreciate one I like. I have never referred to myself as a Glambert. I avoid using the term to refer to Adam fans as Glamberts. Partly because it originated with Perez Hilton. But on the Glam part -- you can never take the Glam out of Adam. He can put on leather, but he will always be glamorous! I thought Adam fans from the original American Idol board voted on Glambert. I used to read the comments there, and Adam had a huge fan base, and much, much bigger than anyone else in the top 10. Danny was his biggest competitor at the start, and Adam somehow way surpassed him. Surprisingly, Kris had a tiny fan base, so I didn't think he would win. Anyway, there were some good names that people suggested. Is there an archive of the old boards? Glambert was and is Perez Hilton's nickname for Adam. I believe but cannot confirm that Adam was called this prior to Idol -- an acquaintance of mine who knows Adam believe Adam originated -- just fooling around. Perez is the first one that I can find who used the term online to refer to Adam. *** The use of Glambert as a fan name is known and originated on AmericanIdol.com in the Adam section. A fan named CarlyIdol08 originated the use of it for fans. Adam was dubbed Glambert #1. Chaotica is Glambert #2 and started the numbering convention. There was a fan vote for the fan name on AI.com. The winning name was Glambert. The original Glambert number thread was on AI.com but it was moved to AdamOfficial.com where it is today. www.adamofficial.com/us/node/11704#comment-181037ETA: This thread is no longer active. This is the "History of the Glamberts" from AdamOfficial.com Twas a cold day in January (well, in NYC at least) when the first fans of Adam Lambert on the AI message board were gathered in the General Discussion folder thinking of names to call our fan base. Some suggested "Adam's Ribs", "Adam's Family", "Adam's Eves", etc. Then a bright young man with the username CarlyIdol08 said "what about Glamberts?". The lovely and talented chaotica then agreed with him and said that this will be our fan base name. However, there were quite a few objections raised by those who preferred other names. It was decided that a vote would be taken and after a week, the highest vote getter would be the group name. After that week passed, "Glamberts" was the overwhelming winner and so we became the :Glamberts:. In any case, there were a lot of Adam fan group names in 2009 -- many have vanished. Glambert was the biggest group of fans, and on the official site, and the term used in the media. It became the press name for Adam fans and is the one Adam uses. My fav has always been -- Loyal Minions of the Dark Lord Screamanova.

I don't wanna be a "glamhopper." That's ugly. Adam doesn't like "Glamberts" anymore? *sob* Glambert is such a great identifier for Adam. Those Adam names could be any Adam. I love Glambert.

I don't wanna be a "glamhopper." That's ugly. Adam doesn't like "Glamberts" anymore? *sob* Adam wasn't suggesting we all go by "glamhopper" now. He was just being funny and making a reference to the old Kung Fu TV show in which the master called young Caine "grasshopper." I thought it was a cute tweet, although I have to confess: Grasshoppers are to me what snakes are to some other people. They scare me. They have little Martian faces and they fling themselves into the air so suddenly and randomly and their little feet cling to you if they land on you. Ewww. My brothers used to chase me around the yard with them when we were kids. I'm still not over the trauma.
