Yesterday (after my first post here) some people asked me why I just discovered Adam last June. So I tried put that story into words, and posted it in Member news and advice.
Thank you again for the warm welcome!

I just caught the end of Nile and Chic's set in the iTunes festival, and the crowd didn't let them leave the stage: they kept on clapping, and then started spontaneously singing Get Lucky. Nile was very moved. It was beautiful.

The only other fan name that was in heavy use during the Idol period was Kradison -- fans of Kris Allen, Adam Lambert and Allison Iraheta. This fan combo almost got Adam knocked off Idol in the Top 5 because so many Adam fans who also were Allison fans voted for her to get her into the Final 4 -- leaving Adam in the Bottom 2 that week. That was the first indication that Adam's passionate fanbase might not be large enough for him to win against the core Idol audience who clearly prefer guitar playing white guys and country, soft rock and adult pop music. There was also Kradam for Kris and Adam. On a smaller scale, there was something like Gokbert or Lamkey (can't remember). I think Simon and Ryan at one time or another mentioned Danny had a huge fan base. When Adam was in the bottom 2, some fan groups got together the following week and sent Adam balloons and other gifts. Was it the TALC group that started that? I think that was when Adam and AI discovered Adam had very passionate fans. Remember the picture someone took and posted of the top ten mailboxes? Adam was the only one who had two and spilling over.

I am sure someone will find it! The TALC group used to deliver a gift for Adam EVERY week. IDK how long this lasted...

Aлександра Кв @aleksandrakv Top 10 Adam Lambert Songs popcrush.com/adam-lambert-songs/?trackback=twitter_top … @popcrush Adam Lambert songs find the crooner working with the crème de la crème of pop producers and songwriters: Dr. Luke, Max Martin, Shellback, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Pink. Even so, it is Lambert’s over-the-top, room-filling, boisterous and beautiful vocals that have made him the star that he is. Lambert never shies away from big, bold bombast and he shouldn’t, since it works for him. But at the end of the day, he can sing like nobody’s business, like a true diva. Lambert has been on the pop music radar since 2009, but in four years, he has assembled quite a few hits and pop gems, and endeared himself to his diehard congregation of fans. He was the first openly gay artist to have a No. 1 record – 2012′s sophomore set ‘Trespassing’ — and he continues to mix flash, panache and sass on record and on stage. To celebrate the ‘American Idol‘ contestant turned superstar, we’ve collected the Top 10 Adam Lambert Songs, which you can see below.
