You do not need to reveal the date -- just check the box on your profile. I don't even know what "check the box on your profile" means. When I logged in just now, for the very first time proboards was demanding my birth date. I thought Oh, for fuck's sake, and hit 2013 as my birth year. Then I got a message saying "Nobody can log in if you're under 13 years of age."   So I finally typed in 1900 for my birth year.My relationship with proboards is starting to feel eerily similar to my relationship with fuckitbucket. ![]() .. sorry I can't help it.. |

Ooo LMD still at #2 on iTunes Finland. Charts update tomorrow, top 10 anyone?? I think most of the buyer are Adam fans, if they can stand at top 5 for a week then maybe another iTunes users purchase the song as well.. ??? Well the album is #1 so |

Aaahh... Such great memories. Did the idols have access to the internet back during S8? I'm wondering if they knew Adam was getting tons of buzz. I bet they were surprised he didn't win, considering all the evidence that he seemed to be the most popular with the judges and fans, and possibly media if they got to have access to internet. Even Kris was surprised Adam didn't win. I don't believe there were any comments about how Adam was so gracious towards Kris and seemed thrilled for him that he won. Yes they did have access to internet and Adam was the only Idol who's brave enough to google himself that time..  . And yes Adam didn't really care if he got the Idol crown, he just wanted the platform and the recording contract. |

Adam's goal was simply to stay on Idol until the end -- to build a fanbase. He talked about it after the finale.
And years later, I am so glad he did not win the crown. If he had won Idol, the pressures on him would have been so great, that I am not sure even Adam could have handled the whole circus and all the expectations and the political pressures.

I was reading the "other place", and they thought it was highly unlikely LMD could get a Grammy nom because of timing. It has to be released by the end of this month, and it's usually the first two singles that get nominated. Also, Avicii's first single would likely get a nomination, and it's rare to have two singles nominated. I think that's really, really unfortunate because Adam could have been performing at the next Grammy's (assuming LMD really hits it big in the US). So, Aloe Blacc likely to be singing with Avicii at the next Grammy's...  |
