Is that a new tattoo above the Infinity? Ooooh there it is! I saw people on twitter talking about it and couldn't find it! Something else to look forward to seeing. Gorgeous pic!

Adam FANtasy Contest Entry
Here is my entry, it is based on a wonderful memory from Burning Man.
Late August 2043
My name is Lambert Harvey, I am 21 and making my first trip to Burning Man. It has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember. The event has changed a lot since my grandparents first went but it has all been for the better. A fine mesh magnetic grid is now placed on the alkali desert to keep the fine dust from escaping, this not only protects the purity of the environment but also allows the unique olfactory experience that only this desert gifts to the attendees. A porous electronic dome now covers the area that will be occupied by almost half a million burners. The dome will block the high winds without altering the temperature or dimming the sun or the stars. It was first thought that these refinements would lessen the principle of radical self-reliance but the opposite has happened. Now everyone comes with only tents and beautiful shade structures, there are no RVs separating those who only wish to share with their neighbors.
As is tradition, the grids are turned off and the man burns on Saturday, but on Friday is the time I have most looked forward to. That is the night that music and dance, while always present, radically takes over the Playa. You might have guessed by my name that I am called after my parents’ favorite musician. Adam Lambert’s music has dominated world culture for decades and I was weaned on his music and his ethos of community and self-expression which is so in-line with Burning Man principles. So on Friday, I gravitate to the jam of today’s best musicians which is occurring at the 9:00 o’clock plaza where Adam’s music is usually interspersed with current vibes. It is the place to go and the crowds are dense.
The evening starts off soft but as burners become aroused and the neon flashes in the night sky, the beats become primal and the hard thumping of the rhythm on the playa matches to the beat of my heart. I know the evening will peak, as it always does, with the dance song that catapulted Adam to the top – Lay Me Down, and as I am singing loudly and dancing with abandon, I hear an echo behind me of the song being performed on the stage. The sound is ethereal and sexual beyond my wildest dreams and I turn around. Behind me I see a tall slender older man with beautiful eyes and platinum hair dancing with his friends but including everyone around him in the joy of music. He winks at me and smiles. It is Adam and I will never be the same.
