So Avicii was in Vegas, and Nile was in LA and they wrote a song together? I assumed that Avicii and Nile were in the same location. I guess, Prince is not the only one that is confused. I am too, lol. All participating in the recording were in LA. Maybe you should listen to the interview again and don't forget the photos from the session. Avicii even works on songs on planes: Avicii "Lay me down in darkness - and tell me what you see" Avicii One of the collaborations with @nilerodgers is sounding better each flight! Love working on planes! MahmoudRagab95 @avicii why you are concentrating only on this collab ... I think it will be the track of the year! Avicii @mahmoudragab95 im not! We just rly vibe and have a bunch of tracks and ideas! nilerodgers @avicii Hey Tim, I just came back to my room and heard the rough mix. It's INSANE! Music is life my brother! nilerodgers We're all artists trying to GROW. Yes, I hooked up @avicii, @adamlambert & @weareking. When we get it right we get a hit-but we always LEARN lilybop2012.blogspot.com/2013/07/some-lay-me-down-lyrics-by-malcolm.html

I know and It's pretty disheartening. Even the New Years Eve gig is put down by some skeptical fans.. Geez. Why? As myspenser stated, Adam is not in the same elite category like Katy Perry and a handful of others. Until he can consistently sell out full arenas, casino concerts are still viable gigs.

Okay...did I start this mess???? When I was bringing my thoughts on Tim's interview to the thread...I was merely pointing out that TIM (sorry I put in Ted in that one post) said he asked/convinced Adam to come late that night to work on the song. I believe Nile's version, of Nile and Adam in the studio hammering out the song which was sent to Tim the next morning.
I said way on ...I would like to know who did what ...but the lines are blurred; Adam is getting credit and money...no problem for me! FOR SURE I am one happy camper about the whole collaboration!!..... many exclamation points!!!!

To paraphrase a certain football coach -- We have the only fan base that goes on suicide watch after a win.

Anyone who thinks Nile is dissing Adam in that interview needs to relisten to it. He have consistently supported Adam. And he is his biggest PR agent right now. And he said -- Adam had a hit. *** While I am still not convinced that LMD will be a US Radio hit, I think it will be a radio hit in other countries and will be a Worldwide (including US) Dance/Club hit. My hope is that it sells well enough in North America off the album track, that Island releases it as a single pushes it to clubs and Top 40 Rhythmic-Crossover in the US. Just maybe a neo-disco track could move up the Mainstream Top 40 charts here. Daft Punk "Get Lucky" got to #2 in the US, and Avicii WMU is the top selling and charting EDM song ever in the US. So it could happen.
But EDM has not done well in the US. Dance-pop, yes. EDM, not so much. Clear Channel is experimenting with EDM Radio www.digitalspy.com/music/news/a437799/pete-tong-for-us-radio-show-edm-has-been-on-the-rise-in-america.html
And EDM is on the rise in the US. So just maybe LMD is the right song at the right time. Only time will tell.
It probably will have its best shot in the US if released in late spring for the summer party/dance song season in the US.
>> We finally have a generation of people who do not remember disco, hip hop has reached the point of needing to evolve, so perhaps dance can rise against the forces of country music!!
**
Finally, the ones that Nile is dissing in that interview is the morons at RCA!!! without naming them. Seriously, who
