My two cents today...... or why I think Adam is a 'Back door man'.......
We know of Adam because of American Idol.
American Idol was simply a foot in the door for Adam.
That foot in the door allowed him to make important connections in the industry or in my analogy, to gather keys to that door.
The minute Adam did not win AI, I knew that he would likely not be storming through the front door.
By sheer talent alone he was able to grab a few keys to that front door, but he has been smart enough to continue to grab as many keys to that back door as possible.
He was always going to be going in the back door and I believe he and his management now know this.
His collaborations with Queen, Nile and Avicii, and his guest run on Glee are all keys to the back door.
In the end it won't matter one bit how he gets in the room. All that will matter is that he feels that he never compromised who he is and that he gets in.
