My guess is that the recording sessions were scheduled before this. That means Avicii did not just fly in from Europe for this benefit but actually for the recording session. By sheer talent alone he was able to grab a few keys to that front door, but he has been smart enough to continue to grab as many keys to that back door as possible. He was always going to be going in the back door and I believe he and his management now know this. His collaborations with Queen, Nile and Avicii, and his guest run on Glee are all keys to the back door. In the end it won't matter one bit how he gets in the room. All that will matter is that he feels that he never compromised who he is and that he gets in. Totally agree with this, with emphasis on last paragraph. |

He's the right age and very pretty, but too tall. Still, I wouldn't have given him a second look, if Adam hadn't tweeted his name. |

midswifespal just emailed me to tell me this fabulous news of ADAM at the WINSTAR on New Year's Eve!!! OMMMGGGG> That is a show within reach, like I can go to this thing. It's been over a year since I have seen him!!! New Year's EVE!! I hope I can convince my partner that this is exactly where we need to be. It shouldn't be too much trouble..... I wonder if there will be new material. I wonder if he will play Lay Me Down. I wonder if I can get my ass to the front? I wonder if when tix go on sale that they will have opened up the VIP seating yet? Those are the best seats in the whole place. All you have to do is just get into that section and the front is all yours. The security does not stop you from moving around, or dancing in the aisles....

Why? As myspenser stated, Adam is not in the same elite category like Katy Perry and a handful of others. Until he can consistently sell out full arenas, casino concerts are still viable gigs. You guys!!! NYE gigs pay sooooooo much!! And he doesn't even have new music out!! There's nothing wrong with this gig! Nothing!! MySpenser50 is a wise women listen to her. WinStar bills the top acts for NYE! Adam will make more money at one casino show then he can with 5 arena concerts. And it is a guarantee. If it is good enough for Pitbull and his entire show and for Maroon 5 and the "other Adam' it should be good enough for the real Adam.
