By sheer talent alone he was able to grab a few keys to that front door, but he has been smart enough to continue to grab as many keys to that back door as possible. He was always going to be going in the back door and I believe he and his management now know this. His collaborations with Queen, Nile and Avicii, and his guest run on Glee are all keys to the back door. In the end it won't matter one bit how he gets in the room. All that will matter is that he feels that he never compromised who he is and that he gets in. Totally agree with this, with emphasis on last paragraph. That's the most clearly stated analysis of Adam's career path I've seen. You've concisely put into words what I've what I've been thinking for the last couple of years. And he will get in and he will always be himself.

Lay Me Down .. #True @trespassingal 3m Avicii, Adam Lambert Release New Song j.mp/195QUDd via @thr *The new track, "Lay Me Down", is already a No. 1 hit in Finland.* Avicii, Adam Lambert Release New Song Avicii's new CD, True, is ready to drop on Tuesday, and it includes a treat for Adam Lambert fans. View on web I broke my own rule and read the comments below this article....and was pleasantly surprised: the only hater comment was the first one (and I swear I remember that loser's name from years ago...guess she's still around, pathetic thing), and the dozen or so that follow do not address this person at all! That's the best way to deal with people like her!

MySpenser50 is a wise women listen to her. WinStar bills the top acts for NYE! Adam will make more money at one casino show then he can with 5 arena concerts. And it is a guarantee. If it is good enough for Pitbull and his entire show and for Maroon 5 and the "other Adam' it should be good enough for the real Adam. Dec 31, 2012 - Pitbull with the South Miami Review -- huge show Dec 31, 2011 - Maroon 5 WinStar World Casino This is a big, big win for Adam. He can make a couple of million dollars? Then why don't performers like Katy Perry and Gaga do those?

All that will matter is that he feels that he never compromised who he is and that he gets in. Totally agree with this, with emphasis on last paragraph. Actually, I do not agree with this "back door" concept. The music business is built from relationships and collaborations and mutual respect and referrals. Just like every other business. There was NOTHING back door about Adam doing the lead vocal on LMD. It is how things like this happen all the time. And in my book being a featured artist with a soon to be hit track on the #1 album in the world, and working on that artist's next album already, and being the preferred frontman for Queen and co-headlining at iHeartRadio Music Festival, and grabbing a multi-episode starring role on GLEE -- this is not back door. It is being in the room or whatever analogy you want to make. And think about the smiles over at DMG as they are working the deals for Adam right now. If you do not think he is hot, you have blinders on. ** Think about it -- there were only two famous indie artists on the stage at the MTV VMA's -- one [Macklemore] who wants to stay independent, and Adam who may just be re-evaluating the benefits of being an independent artist. If he is indie and can be a featured artist on promoted singles of other major label artists, he does not need to prostitute himself to a major label. He can call his own shots. All he needs is a distribution deal. Seriously, RCA is looking stupider as the time passes. ** Finally, artists do not necessarily make more more doing arena tours. The sweet spots for net profit are 80%+ sold 5,000-10,000 seat venues and 3,000 seat casino venues [where Adam is now], and arena tours with tickets >$200 average and sellouts. Only a few artist can make money touring arenas in 2012. The arenas stay in business with sports.... Here are ALL of the concerts at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, OH for the rest of the year! (This arena is considered an industry bellweather) Blake Shelton Friday, September 20, 2013 Justin Timberlake Saturday, November 16, 2013 Elton John and His Band November 20, 2013 Selena Gomez Saturday, November 23, 2013 Trans-Siberian Orchestra December 26, 2013 Tickets are available for all of these shows.

Before I pass out...
Since there was a little bit of complaining about the way Adam's voice was produced in the past, I'd love to hear opinions on Avicii's production of his voice. I think he did a great job, especially in the not tampering with it department and the capturing one of its many x factors department, (which would be its sweetness and raw, kind of hoarse, nasalish sexiness this time, imho)and bringing it to the front. Maybe that would be a good recipe, pick one thing and accentuate it, capture it in a way.
G'night:)))

Q3! "Just the facts, Maam." It is sooo easy to get swayed by an article or interview. Many of us are definitely in the "Adam Bubble." Have never stanned before (of course I didn't even know the meaning of the word.) We don't follow anyone else, and have no background in this crazy entertainment industry. So to have someone like yourself, with great experience, an absolutely amazing amount of resources, and a whole lot of common sense - is a true gift. And... the fact that you are as crazy about Adam as the rest of us and can still be objective is pretty cool. My life would not be the same without Adam and Adamtopia. ( FACT!)

I do not know any performer who gets a couple of million dollars for a NYE performance. *** Katy Perry got her divorce tweet at a private party on NYE last year. I do not recall her performing anywhere. Lady Gaga was starting her promotion for Art Pop on NYE 2013 (12.31.13). She did the ball drop and then performed.
