I know it's just me , but I find Shoshonna patronizing and irritating at times. I know she is a godsend for Adam, and I know she is responding to the extreme wacky stans. I need to chill...I guess. Funny, because I was just about to write that Adam's golden glamhoppery style is rubbing off on her. Because I think the old Shosh would have answered. <I am his publicist. I know what his next single mightl be....> or something along those lines. I mean cuttituude was writing this more in a squeeing tone, rather than trying to inform Shosh...., and so Shosh kept it friendly, but still, she is working for Adam and needs to constantly deal with the fact that her twitter dashboard runs at triple the speed, because she gets all this fans wanting to be her personal best friends. Wish those folks would come and squee here or on other fanboards and leave our communication with Shosh for only the really important stuff. It is great that we have via Shosh this IN, if needed, but if that line gets overused or abused, then it may one day not be available to us anymore. YMMV

OT here,
I guess I am having a bad day. This morning before school, my 16-year old son, who does not drive yet ( waiting till he matures a little more, he is severely ADHD), decided that I had parked my husband's car too close to the far wall in the garage. So he got into the car, backed up right into the double door garage. Major damage to the garage door, but fortunately not the car.Just had a repair guy here, who told me that it is going to cost a $1000 to repair. Can't tell hubby ( he's away in CA). So I have to take the fall, but now have to figure out an appropriate punishment and repayment plan for my son, and get it fixed before hubby gets back.

Can we really believe MJ about Adam and the drag situation? To me if this is true it is sad that he had to negotiate not doing drag, and not singing Judas. Why could he not have sung one of his own songs. But who am I, I don't know the story line, and can this make him look difficult. He was asked to be on the show, then negotiates what he will and will not do. This doesn't always bode well. Not trying to be Debbie downer or negative, but looking for some insight and input from y'all. Naaaah, no need to, simply because there are too many unknowns: a) we don't know what Adam has in his Glee contract with regards to script approval b) we don't know what MJ heard / was told / was leaked and then wrote in her own words from there c) we don't know anything about this 'credible source' that she has d) we don't know whether this scenario was just one of many on the discussion table e) we don't know under what circumstances this was now turned around or whether it actually even WAS a turn-around. Bottom-line, we don't know squat and so heading for the worst possible situation that could have, might have, probably hasn't been and worrying about it, is probably not good for our health or sanity. Btw, my best guess is that it was d), with either an accidental or purposed leak at the backend of that discussion session. =============== =============== This whole discussion (since MJs original article) has made it apparent to me and probably others, how different culturally the US really is, and I live here for 20 years now. My European brain just cannot understand the level of concern and worry that a drag role costs the average American. The extend to which Adam has to tip toe around anything remotely pushing either the androgyny or any role with female connotations. And we all know he itches to go there. There are just reflexes triggered in the average American, that I just don't have and I am pretty sure most of my European acquaintances don't have either. This board, who clearly has Adam's interests at heart, was in the majority expressing concern and the same was happening on AO and twitter. If this was planted to get a read on the fandom, then Adam got his answer. But I wonder how long it will take, before a culture can change and become at ease with something like this and also what parts of the cultural upbringing makes this be so different in America versus i.e. Europe. Just pondering such things, this morning. I don't really have answers right now, but I find the question intriguing.
