Is someone bringing in tweets from Atops who are there in Vegas watching the show? Seems like I haven't read any tweets fr Q3 (who else is there?). I don't know how to bring tweets here. They must have some thoughts they want to share with us about the concert so far..

Maybe they are listening to really good music for the first time in ages and it stopped them dead in their tracks. Because it IS semi dead!!! Really? I feel sorry for the artists -- difficult to get pumped when the crowd is asleep or checking Twitter. Are they all drunk? It is Vegas, after all. |

I'm still trying to understand the point of seeing a DJ live--playing recorded music. I don't get it yet. The DJs are not just playing recorded music. A band has a song with parts written for each instrument and vocal and they could play that song exactly the same way every time so that each concert sounded exactly the same but they don't. They improvise and respond to their mood and the crowd. A DJ has a song with distinct synth components and if those components are combined exactly the same way each time, then the concert will sound exactly the same. But it doesn't because they also improvise according to their mood and the crowd. It is sort of an old-timey one-man band, but hella more complex. |

glittergma awwwww......would love to have you here darling. Anytime OK. My new place is coming together slowwwwwly, but is taking shape and I am in love with my new life style so much. Have had to take a break and step away from fandom for a while tho as more and more stuff needs dealing with. Cooking is my new obsession...lol Had to share in Queenbert with you all tho ![]() Well, I just have to wait for someone to give me that offer...lol! But, ya have to dream, right? I'd love your lifestyle, but I do love my job and the peeps I work with. So, all is good there.  It does wear me out though, so I don't post much, but had to tonight to share the love for Queenbert!! OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH they just said Queen with Adam Lambert again!! EEEEEEEEEEE hahahahaha!! So excited! It's so late for me, but I'm waking up now!! I love cooking, but boring to do for just me. Sometimes I do get into it. My youngest son is a chef in HI, and I'm going to see him in Feb. (thanks to my big brother who lives there and is sending me a ticket) YAY!! He'll cook for me, as well as his wife will. She's a chef too! Going for my cousin's daughters wedding on Valentines Day...on the beach! Will be all kinds of fun! I haven't had a vacation for over a year now, so it's time!! |
