Just realized Katy Perry is the only female performer tonight. I think she will be the right person to get the crowd all energenized for Queen + Adam Lambert! I still get goosebumps everytime they announce it. Adam must be pinching himself to think that just 4 years ago, his good friend Katy would pimp him "Las Vegas" style with her cape. Loved Katy since then.

And for the record - there ain't nothin like seein' Billy Joel rock Madison Square Garden....it's just a hometown NY thing for him and the vibe is like none other... Is he still performing? I get emails from Ticketmaster and the arena near me all the time but have't seen his name. |

I think Billy is taking a break right now...he's never "retired" though so I would be surprised if he didn't do at least one more tour at some point...

Irritates me a little when the interviewers mentioned Queen tonight but don't add Adam to that mix since he will be the one singing the songs. They were interviewing Fun and mentioned that they would be coming back with Queen to sing two songs. Fun replied what? I thought we were only singing 1 song, in jest of course.
anyhow,,,,get over it.... as they say.. moving on.
