Just realized Katy Perry is the only female performer tonight. I think she will be the right person to get the crowd all energenized for Queen + Adam Lambert! I still get goosebumps everytime they announce it. Adam must be pinching himself to think that just 4 years ago, his good friend Katy would pimp him "Las Vegas" style with her cape. Loved Katy since then. That was such a shock, and I have to admit, I didn't really know who Katy Perry was at that time...lol! But, I've loved her ever since, also. I know Adam was so excited to see her...he even said so at the time. Wow, she's the only female performer? Didn't even know that. And, I have goosebumps just thinking about them announcing Queen + Adam Lambert!!! It goes together soooooo well!! Woooooooooooooooooo Hoooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! What a fun night!! So glad you are here, mayumi!! Hugs!! Sheesh - only female in line up of 5 hour concert... Good to see equality is alive and well. |

Quick story re Queen and Adam - girlfriend worships Freddie, he is her favorite male singer and loves Queen. When they played their last round of gigs I sent her video of Adam doing WWTLF and she emailed me back that it gave her chills and though she hated to say it Adam sang it better than Freddie (huge for her to say that). Not that I think he did - different isn't better, but got to say Adam's version does give me chills as it one of my all time favorite Queen songs from movie I've always loved (Highlander). So glad it is in the set tonight - will be quite something for audience to hear that live. I love this story. bridgeymah!!!  |

I know alot of you are taking breaks during Chris Brown's slot but I'm watching & listening and he sounds out of tune (pitch problem?) or flat. I'm also thinking the feed fr each singer's mic is going straight to tv. Isn't this how Adam's madonna song sounded on Vh1 Diva's? I hope tonite Adam will sound perfect & spectacular so all those peeps in the audience (plus everyone watching online) will be blown away!
BTW, we're all here watching the show but no one is grabbing any of HSM's lollies. She did say she will put out the bucket for tonite. Hmmm, what flavor do I want??
