On the very plus side of Glee, we did get two guys mouth to mouth kissing and professing undying love for one another. And a gay marriage proposal. And a transgender individual dressing like a guy, then androgynously, then as a girl, and that had nothing to do with a plot. It was just there, like it was nothing special. What a wonderful vehicle to send a message of inclusion and acceptance to the younger generation. For that alone, I could love Glee. I guess nothing about Rachel's audition yet... That might give us a clue about Adam's role. I could never figure out if Unique (the transgender person), was a guy who sometimes dressed like a girl, or vice versa. The solos lip synching was usually better than the group numbers. Especially when they are dancing, the lip syncing was way too obvious and very distracting. I wonder Adam is still at the studio filming Glee. |

I get being pissed at what some CEO of a company has to say. But boycotting the company? What about the hundreds of employees who don't share the opinions of that CEO but still need their jobs? Should they quit and join the boycott? I'm pissed off by these ignorant comments too, but............. I think Chick fil A is in its own category. They made a chain-wide national event to protest gay marriage. But even within Chick fil A some of the franchise owners did not participate. I do not each chickens so no big loss for me although their lemonade is really good. |

Well, Chick fil A is a big supporter of Kris, and Kris himself has mentioned he loves CfA, and even tweeted it at least a couple of times. Kris used to follow the head guy, can't remember his name. Anyway, what did Levi's do? The local Conway, AR Chick fil A franchise owner was a bit supported of Kris'. The corp. office did not get involves in the Idol competition. Regarding Kris loving Chick fil A, he lives in Arkansas and "everyone" in the mid-South loves Chick fil A. S. Truett Cathy, the CEO of Chick fil A, and his son Dan Cathy are opposed to gay marriage and were responsible for the Chick-fil-A national "appreciation day" in support of traditional marriage. This was not related to Kris vs. Adam. It was a response to the US Supreme Court ruling in August 2012. NOT RELATED TO ADAM. Dan Cathy is the person Kris followed and Dan Cathy followed Kris. FYI, AK = Alaska. AR = Arkansas. |
