I'll take it because it's what I'm getting and I get to see Adam on TV. But STL a highlight? Seriously?! If they needed to include Nate then Fat Bottomed Girls was a better performance.  I think Nate would agree with me. I hope they remove the painful technical screech at the end of WATC. Well, shoot! WWRY and WATC. Not my favorites from the set. To not show WWTLF is a crime against music. But, I guess they picked the most well known songs that everyone hears at every sporting event. How unimaginative. Also figured fun would be included cuz they are hot right now. I sound like Debbie Downer. Excuse me. Adam is gonna be on TV singing his face off. All is good. Honestly this isn't a surprise (If it's accurate - I mean the announcement might be only including a few as a teaser. They might show more..although I wouldn't get my hopes up) There really unfortunately was NO shot that WWTLF, Dragon Attack, or BoRap (in that format) would be on screen. If there's a fourth song it probably will be FBG due to fun's popularity and the uniqueness of having all of them on stage. Somebody To Love though was bound to happen. It's one of the most popular singers performing a song that has garned more and more love in the States. I'm glad to see any of it on tv but am glad I got to watch the stream... |

Well, it *is* a radio showcase. You gotta figure they would hone unerringly in on the most predictable, by-the-numbers moments and leave what's special on the cutting room floor. It's what they do. Maybe they'll exceed expectations and actually say Adam's name at some point on the telecast. Let's be positive - given the worst case scenario (showing only the "Fun." STL performance), this is quite a step up! Notice the masterfully used quotation marks expressing a certain level of sarcasm...  |

Re the rock climbing scenes. This isn't Adam we are talking about, it is Starchild/Henry/Mr Blow'emaway, or whatever his character is called. He could be anything they write him as. I do agree that if he is in the NYC group then this scene looks more like western rocks than eastern so it is probably not for him.
I keep reminding myself that they will be writing all his words, telling him how to sing a song, and creating a persona that is not Adam. There is probably no way what they create lives up to what he has created of himself but it will still be great to have such a big audience. I am most excited about seeing his acting skills. And perhaps having visuals of him in situations we would never get otherwise. Should be fun.
Oh,and, yeah, sucks about the iheart songs. Was hoping for the intro medley, FBG and WATC. But it's still his gorgeous self for all to see and hear.

There are reports that on Tuesday night, they will additionally show FBG. It would be a clear recognition on who was the talk of the event, if that would really be shown. Not sure, it is true though. I am so disappointed. STL is five minutes, and WWRY and WATC, I believe are about five minutes combined. Nate has as much Queen time as Adam. Yes, fun is hot now, but they have their own set. |
