Just got an email adverstising the CW Broadcast:
The iHeartRadio Music Festival will be televised as a two-night primetime special on The CW Network. Watch tonight at 8/7pm CT and tomorrow night at 8/7pm CT.
Monday, September 30th Performances by Robin Thicke, FUN., J. Cole, Keith Urban, Muse, Elton John, Chris Brown, Thirty Seconds To Mars, Katy Perry, and Queen + Adam Lambert. Tuesday, October 1st Performances by Paul McCartney, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Justin Timberlake, Drake , and another incredible collaboration with Queen + Adam Lambert joined by FUN.
It looks like they will be on BOTH nights of the CW Highlights. Interesting....Unless they are splitting WWRY/WATC on Monday and STL on Tuesday
I saw the other article from above making it out like it would be STL on Monday and FBG on Tuesday...I'm just surprised as it looks like QAL (w/fun) are the only ones on both nights...

I think you just nailed an important point. The Chick-fil-a guy gave an interview to a sectarian magazine, and this guy gave his interview on some Italian radio show, right? A few years back, these remarks would never have spread beyond their initial audience; there was simply no means by which they would ever do so. Sheltered is a good word to describe these CEOs, who probably sat there nodding and smiling when marketing folks talked about that new-fangled Internet, never realizing the kind of instantaneous and uncontrollable communication it has unleashed.

All I know is business has never been better for Chick Fil A. Two new stores have opened between my home and workplace in the last 3 months! The drive thru line is always long. What these CEO's speak still resonate with a heck of a lot of people even if it is not politically correct and a lot of other consumers really don't care what they say as long as their product is good. I did not like what Mr Barilla had to say, but I love the pasta and would never stop buying it. That now he is recognizing his error and attempting to reconcile is encouraging to me. It is easier for me to avoid CFA because I am staying away from that type of food now (even though I used to enjoy the chicken biscuit and sweet tea, yum!) What irks me more about CFA is their monetary support of antigay causes.
I saw Kelly Clarkson on The Crazy Ones. It just makes me happy Adam is NOT portraying himself in Glee. I did not like what they did with Kelly on the show. I suppose it was her way of poking fun at herself which was kind of funny, but it was a bit awkward. Her acting was not the greatest either. A good reminder was posted upthread......Adam is playing a role, a character. I think it should be great fun to watch.

See, that is what I don't believe. They are CEO's for a reason. They are business savvy and are in constant communication with their marketing staff, IT staff, and all others accordingly. They are well aware how news can travel and how the internet works. Their naivety is related to the subject matter itself. imo: They assume that their own values to look down on lgbt values are still shared by a majority of people all over the world. They assume that gay people are only a minute portion of the population, and therefore, if they want to shop for some other pasta, it does not matter, because 'family-value'-loving females will love their statements and therefore be reminded of the family friendly Barilla brand name ....or some quack like that. They furthermore assume that with such a statement they only offend gays - and are utterly unaware that to an ever extending degree, straight people step in on the side of lgbt, and not on the side of those discriminatory forms of family values. I believe that this guy was just hit by a brick that he did not see coming. And in that sense, I think he must live in a very sheltered (as in one-sided) environment. He probably now receives a rather fast paced education. He hears about hundred-thousand people like myself, that are straight, make most of the grocery purchases for their family, have pasta eating children and are now not buying that brand. They hear from their own VPs and directors of sales all over the world, who are being driven to find way's to increase sales in a completely saturated market, and who are now thrown such curb balls from their own leadership. Believe me, this guy is hearing it from everywhere. And probably he will have to face a BOD and explain, why he is personally endangering a brand name completely unnecessarily so. And in this process, he will have to get educated and with him all those that read and hear about it, and one sheltered corner of the universe is no more. That is what I believe is happening and unfortunately needs to happen.

Hi guys, A new double picture blog from Sauli in SC: www.adamtopia.com/post/438601/thread The blogs have the same pictures that he posted in his Instagram (and which Adam "liked" ). Also, we posted a longer version of the DOI performance video with the pre-performance introduction: adamtopia.com/post/438404/threadAnd just a reminder: There is so much going on now with SBF, DOI and Seiska pic/videoblogs etc. that Zinnia and I might not always remember to post info about new translations here. If you want to see if there's something new posted, the easiest way is to check this post in the SC/Updates & Info thread: www.adamtopia.com/post/89942/thread. That contains info about all the new translations we post in SC and direct links to them.

There are reports that on Tuesday night, they will additionally show FBG. It would be a clear recognition on who was the talk of the event, if that would really be shown. Not sure, it is true though. So far KISS108 is alone in having that on their list. www.kiss108.com/pages/Matty.html?article=11694791Warning: don't read comments. The usual Adam defense patrol was on full alert If that is correct then they are showing that ridiculous joke 'What the fox say' yet they can't fit in the best vocal performance of the entire festival? Trying to stay thankful for the crumbs that have been offered.
