I'm not sure whether you have seen this, Well it's good that Adam opened it up for everyone who wanted to say their preference but I still agree with Adam that you shouldn't have to "announce". Anybody who couldn't tell by the show only needed to look online so I disagree with the main gal they interview.I'm one of those who did not "notice" anything about him that I'd call gay. I finally saw a couple kissing photos but didn't look any farther than that online for awhile. For all I knew those were photos from a show (theatrical) or a few straight guys acting crazy for the camera. So even though I didn't assume one way or another, no one should have to announce it. I'm still not sure why he and others say it was so obvious on the show. I've decided I'm either really dense or pretty open minded.

Also, I tried to google 'foil', and I still don't know what 'he really is a wonderful foil for us' means. Cannot type outside the box. Alex, a foil in drama is when a character differs from another character enough to bring out the other's special qualities. The term comes from the old practice of backing gems with foil in order to make them shine more brightly. Junie, I moved you into your own box. Great explanation about making the gems shine more. In drama wouldn't the foil be something like without the bad guy you wouldn't need a hero? But perhaps that's too adversarial and better examples would be the comedian and the straight guy, Tonto and the Lone Ranger, Batman and Robin, Andy Griffith & Barney Fife.

Holst I didn't notice anything either back then and I really never got on the computer for anything but my emails. Well Adam obviously changed all that for me once the show was over and I couldn't get enough of AFL! The computer now is like another appendage! LOL

I can understand where your DH is coming from on this. Nate is no Mick Jagger.j/s too funny, I got a young Mick Jagger vibe from Nate -- not in the voice but in his staging As someone who worked the 1972 Rolling Stones American Tour (last 32 concerts, Mick was 28-29 then) -- no, just no. Nate (now 31) is nothing like young Mick. Just no, no, no. Adam is more like Mick -- although not as frenetic. ** Nate has enormous enthusiasm and bounds around the stage -- reminds me a bit of Adam Levine.
