I'm glad that Nancy Sinatra finally got to meet Adam. (I was a big Sinatra fan, though I don't like the guys today who sing in the Sinatra manner. You all know who I'm talking about.) I love that Nancy connects, for me, the two greatest American male singers. I was checking Nancy's twitter, and found this recent picture of her with Neil Diamond (who I really loved back in college). Nancy looks great for 73. twitter.com/NancySinatra/status/377966164460048385/photo/1 Wow! She does look great! I took my mom to see Frank during his 75th birthday tour. She had seen him as a teenager at the Brooklyn Paramount so to see him again after all those years.....priceless. And for me, to sit next to her and watch her face light up as she leaned forward in her seat and murmured "Oh, Frank!"? So beyond priceless.....I am welling up now, just thinking about it....and to bring it back to Adam: he is my "Frank"! |
