Well.

Congrats to the Cardinals, who will move to the NL Championship Series; may my beloved Tigers follow to the AL Series tomorrow. Umm . . . I relate this to Adam because he likes Katy Perry and she likes ' . . . the Eye of the Tiger'!
Maybe, maybe we'll find our way to page 10 tonite.
Random thoughts . . . the man who just won the Nobel Prize for Chemistry was at Burning Man 2013! One year ago tonite I was hoping for a way - any way - to find myself at Live in the Vineyard - - and it happened! Never underestimate the power of desire. Does anyone know I received a reply to my tweet to Allan Louis? Oh! I saw myself on iHeart! My head was just behind the guy who introduced an act - the bearded guy who is on some reality show about fishing or hunting . . . I saw me! Almost famous . . .
I'll try to learn more about Glee before Nov. 7. Does anyone have an idea of an episode that will bring perspective and a little character knowledge about the whole series?
Oh! Congratulations to nationalglampoon and kamar! I loved your futuristic Adam fantasies - and those from Alex and Happy, too - - and all the others. I agree; this site is full of incredible people . . . . thanks to everyone who archives and saves and brings the photos, music and clips of our man and his journey - to this site, every day. I am in awe.
I'm also in awe of every gorgeous 'avi-person', those I've never met, from around the world. I sit and read and follow you from the comfort of a warm and stable home - and I know many of you do not. Please feel the caring I send every day; and remark upon too seldom.
Maybe it won't be 10 pages tonight. Whatever it is, whatever each day brings - I look forward to the adventure, the angst and the humor, as I receive those true 'seeds of knowledge' you scatter within my imagination.

Um, Adam, sweetie, he sounds nice, but....... you are a generous, encouraging, positive audience member who loves watching and listening to performers of all kinds and levels of skill. You do know, tho', that he is nowhere near your league as a singer, right? Not even on the same scale of vocal skill and quality. Adam, you have completely spoiled me and ruined me for other singers.

Did anyone explain the "gate" comments to our new members and international members? I believe the term comes from the Watergate fiasco some years ago. It was a HUGE scandal that ultimately contributed to Nixon resigning as President of the US. Since that time, any big, emotional scandal with lots of complications, denials, repercussions, outrage, etc is termed a "gate". For Adam, the AMAs and the Finland arrests were "gates." We haven't had one in quite a while, altho' Adam's comments about Les Miz created a "mini-gate" of sorts.

There were a lot of ---gates associated with AI Season 8 and the Idols LIVE Tour that followed in 2009. I think the first gate was DannyGate -- when Danny's relatives posted the pictures of green Adam and Adam kissing a guy online.
Hard to believe that was gateworthy!!

I posted just one page back there are over 40 videos of Stay. Eli has one video of Wrecking Ball. I counted the views on Adam official videos on Vevo last night and it is well over 100 million. I found 91 videos of Adam singing "Stay" just on YouTube and with one search. There are so many more combined with Underneath or poorly titled on YT and more on the web. The sheer number of Adam videos on YouTube is just astounding! I also noticed that there are more copies of Adam IHMF videos of Adam than most other artists. This is a very different measure of viral videos, it shows the depth of passion about Adam from his fans. THIS! ![]() </img> |
