Bingo! There are 40+ videos of Adam's Stay!  There are, I was listening Lilibop's playlist yesterday, 10 of them, and loved them all. But Korea version is the very best and should reach 1M! It will be evergreen! Has anyone added up the views? (I'm not volunteering.) 8-) |

Just to be realistic about any of Adam's Glee music charting in any significant way: Last season only 4 of Glee's singles made the US Billboard Hot 100 and the highest ranking was #91. (The previous season over 40 Glee cast songs charted in the Hot 100 and the highest ranking achieved was #11.) Do the songs still rank high on iTunes? That's good visibility. Glee is not what it used to be, The Voice will be filling up iTunes with momentary "hits" on Tues night-Weds so it will be hard to notice Glee spikes on Thurs-Sat, and Adam is not likely to have "Marry the Night" be super high on iTunes. But having a track high on iTunes for a day or two is not worth much promotionally. BUT Adam on Glee is very likely to pick up a lot of press coverage. And the secrecy around his character is likely to increase the press. After they air 5x03 (Cory M. episode), Glee will go on hiatus until 11.7.13 and the promo campaign during the hiatus will largely be about Demi Lovato and Adam based on what the Glee production team has leaked. That would make this a bigger promo opportunity than Divas. |

But I couldn't resist to do a quick estimate by adding up some of the bigger numbers, and I am getting at a little over 900.000 views. |

I counted about 5 youtube pages of the Stay cover, but goofed up my count so had to quit. At the point I stopped I had counted about 1,011,100 views. Huge variation in counts from well into thousands to some with less than 100. The one posted here had by far the most views.

I can totally relate to Nile's missing guitar predicament. Our instruments can be as meaningful to us musicians as a beloved pet or even family member. It can become an extension of ourselves. I can't imagine having the same instrument your entire life like Nile, Dr. Bri, and B.B. King. It's a coincidence that CASSIE  nastily posted the photo below to torture me after I posted a revealing Adam Levine picture a couple days ago. This broken violin did make my heart skip a beat because of a very bad accident I had with my violin. I didn't know if it could be repaired properly and certain the tone would change. So it was a bit like a death. After I yelled, cursed, hyperventilated, and cried (all in public at a rehearsal), I went into mourning for a while. But my highly skilled luthier brought it back to life, splinter by splinter, over the next 5 months. At one point he asked me to come in to look at the progress. I didn't want to go see it all torn apart. It's a bit like watching your child have surgery. But I went and gulped. Okay, I'm done. That get's my stomach in a knot. Stressful time.  |
