The audition is supposed to be Over the Top!! That's the whole point, guys!!  There is nothing about that clip that is NOT perfect!! And it has the most views from last night's clips, even Lea's solo! (Which was beautiful!) Lea's solo is now ahead in view counts by about 10,000. |

He must be filming no melvin last night. Happy Birthday Q3 and babs. Working at home watching the trailer over and over. He is just perfect fit for glee now that it has evolved to NY and the charactors are adults. LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE YOUR IDEA !! I forgot to say that the sexiest part in the promo vid is his voice, which is saying a lot, his swinging/swirling gorgeousness considered.

Just wanted to add my Happy Birthday wishes to you Q3 and the other topians. I'm sure you're loving the birthday present you received last night!  When I saw the preview, I thought "it's happening, it's REALLY happening!" All the talk and buzz, but now we've actually SEEN it, or at least a tiny tidbit, just makes it more real and more exciting! Can't wait, although I sure don't like to wish the days away! And thanks to all of you in the fandom who are SO on top of everything and bring us ALL the goodies within minutes! Yummy new pictures too! |

Miles Tougeaux@milestougeaux iTunes is one evil non-intuitive controlling piece of shit I wonder what he's on about? I felt the same way the first time setting up an account and trying to make a purchase using a pre-paid iTunes card. And even every time I go back it, well, it is just not as easy as Amazon and I'm a techie! Having programed user interfaces, I can not stand the iTunes store user interface. |

I had an Adam dream last night. Details are fuzzy unfortunately. He was performing with Jon Bon Jovi (don't know much about him, no idea why he was in my dream)
So! Adam was singing a new song. It was a good song too! I don't remember anything other than a very cool SUPER high falsetto part where he says "What the fuck." It sounded really cool.
Then he followed that up with a similar singing of "Football sucks" which I thought was a little risky since we were at a festival sort of thing and there were tons of guys.
The song ended and Bon Jovi comes up to me and says, "Who was that?" Now, since he and Adam were singing together I thought, "this doesn't bode well that he doesn't even know who Adam is when they are performing together!" But quickly decided that I was being tested to see if anyone in the crowd knew who Adam was.
I said, "Adam Lambert."
Here comes the ATOP part of the dream LOL
Bon Jovi says, "Why is he wearing so many layers? (Adam was dressed like the top hat version of the Glee promo - without the hat) All the other guys are barely wearing a shirt it's so hot!" I laughed and said, "Oh you never see Adam without a shirt."
Then he says, "I wonder what he is going to wear for the next performance?"
I thought of all of you and said, "Oh, you can be sure that that is being deeply considered as we speak!"

I'm sorry but I HATE the opening shot of Adam in the top hat....and I love "Glam Adam". It's just the angle! Turning his neck like that makes his face look fat and his eyeliner weirdly applied (and we know he's a master of eyeliner)....and...and...in the stills he looks like he has rabbit teeth. Just very unflattering. (eagerly watched the promo clip with my daughter - as soon as we saw the first shot (tophat Adam) she went "oh, he looks very Adam Lambert" and walked away...fabulous looking Adam in the other shots didn't even register cuz that was the first imprint) Not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but I think it's an unfortunate FIRST glimpse of Adam in that promo...because he looks SMOKIN' in every other camera shot! In the grand scheme of things this is trivial because he'll look fabulous in the full episode and all the Glee fans will fall in love - I'm just disappointed in the reaction of my daughter... *slinks away Amen x thousand. Whoever let that go out as his promo is simply NOT a friend. Cameramen and Editors have a lot of choice about how they will portray people. First impression moments matter A LOT. This was a very UNCOOL intro to young Glee fans. He comes across in this one opening gif as old, pancake makeup-ed, washed up vaudville, and fat. Completely NOT Adam. Can't blame your daughter at'all. A lot of kids watching Glee will feel the same way. Takes a lot to make Adam look bad. Some editor chose that for him and sent it out. Extremely un-cool. With friends like that editor who needs enemies, as my Dad used to say. Don't shoot the honest messenger. Still excited about the rest. Just a little wary. |
