He must be filming no melvin last night. Happy Birthday Q3 and babs. Working at home watching the trailer over and over. He is just perfect fit for glee now that it has evolved to NY and the charactors are adults. I don't think he was doing anything with GLEE yesterday or today. None of the scenes schedule for shooting call for Elliot or Starchild. Perhaps he had a business meeting? |

To those who are not happy with the one shot in the promo--- I support this as a legitimate opinion that can be on the table here. In my OPINION it is not at all "hot", as we know Adam is. But the remainder of the promo certainly tells a different tale. I think that's what they were going for perhaps and maybe we will see other unexpected sides to this character. Time will tell, and meanwhile rest assured that it is only a few seconds at most in what will certainly be a lot of positive publicity for Adam.  |

I'm just thrilled to see Adam on the perfect show with music and comedy! This is right down his ally! He has a chance to reach over 5 million new fans and be loved by dedicated true fans. Adam is so gifted! Love the first picture....looking a little freaky. It's just like Adam to do that! He has the ability to laugh at himself. Having watched Glee before he's not going to be beautiful in every scene but he's going to blow them away with his voice. Don't worry too much about how many episodes he'll be in ... I have faith we'll see a lot of Adam. Hugs Gini

I must be slacking off in my stanning. Where did we see the schedule/actor list for scenes to be shot? And how do we know his official title is Special Guest Star With Reoccuring Role"?

Just to answer a question that many have -- Adam/Elliot "Starchild" Gilbert appears to be a GUEST STAR MAJOR RECURRING ROLE. In GLEE production speak, that means they plan on the star returning in future episodes -- CAUTION: occasionally these characters never reappear. Since this looks like it works really well in GLEE and the character is easily in one of the storylines, and everyone involved in the production seemed to be having a love-fest (including Adam) looks to me like this character will be recurring as planned. They are filming 5x05 and 5x06 now and there has been no sign of Adam, and the storylines do not appear to include Kurt's band. They have written 5x07 but I have not seen any info on that episode yet. *** ETA: So why is no one answering the question? Perhaps they do not know yet? Q3, and Kamar.. I do think this is the line Shoshanna is referring to "Happy to be on set again." I read that as present tense, but maybe it's meant to be in the future tense. Per Shosh's tweet -- the quote is from today --- so it is future tense. ** The plan was for Adam to be in a few episodes -- only one blogger posted that Adam will have a cameo on one show. I classify that report with MJs "spoiler" of Adam being a drag queen. He is not in drag. He is in a slightly embellished suit with a top hat. He is glam with class. And it is clearly not a cameo. They just finished writing Ep 5x07 -- so I honestly think that Ryan Murphy and the GLEE writers probably do not have everything finalized for the rest of Season 5. They keep the show current -- 5x04 Perry vs. Gaga, 05x05 Miley-Robin Thicke covers -- by writing the show while they are in production. And they make a lot of changes. I keep watching for hints of any appearance of Elliot or Starchild on the GLEE sites -- and he does not appear to be in 05x05 or 05x06 (Billy Joel tribute) so far, but he could be in something they have not shot yet. ** I am pleasantly surprised with his billing in that promo. STAR! The put him in the same category as Britney. I do not believe that Demi got that level of billing even though she has a huge fanbase. |

I am only bring over info from the GLEE boards and sites about Adam. But there is nothing about Adam in 5x05 or 5x06 so far. And GOBr says he is not singing a song on 5x05. (They get the official spoilers) If you want to see the non-Adam GLEE information, like info about what is getting shot today, you need to read the Glee forums, Glee Spoiler Tumblrs, Gleek ninjas on Twitter and other Glee haunts. Gleek Out Brazil (GOBr) gets the official spoilers. Fans track all kinds of things -- from Paramount Studios shooting schedules, tour sitings, casting calls, etc. Sometime Glee info is on other sites -- the 5x06 song list was on Billy Joel's website. (posted in the Glee section). *** I did not post that Elliot/Starchile is "officially" a "Special Guest Star With Reouring Role". I posted that is what I believe he is. That would be a 2 to 6 episode deal and fits the billing, best info we have on the part right now. Did someone find anything official on this? I doubt it. Looks like this character was created for and with Adam. So there will be no casting sheet and Adam is not posting his contract online. Here is what I wrote: ETA: I have been reading the GLEE board (so you do not have to! there are a lot of GLEE places and they post like Glamberts! A lot.) Overall -- positive comments about Adam, and particularly about how good he looks and sounds. I found only one negative comment and that is by someone who is trolling. And the most comment comments are that it looks like a really fun episode, and how good Adam songs singing MTN. |

Watching the promo several times - I agree with the unexpected. The opening is the character as he presents himself, but the throwing off the hat and hanging from the chandelier is the true version. ![]() Surprise! Haven't watched Glee since the first couple of shows in the first season (just didn't grab me), but will of course be watching a few times this season. |

I think they may be trying to portray the Adam character as a little jazzed -- he looks like a caricature of himself -- sort of vaudeville. Don't know where they're going with it but it seems to me that Adam probably saw the promo before it was released -- don't you think? |
