To those who are not happy with the one shot in the promo--- I support this as a legitimate opinion that can be on the table here. In my OPINION it is not at all "hot", as we know Adam is. But the remainder of the promo certainly tells a different tale. I think that's what they were going for perhaps and maybe we will see other unexpected sides to this character. Time will tell, and meanwhile rest assured that it is only a few seconds at most in what will certainly be a lot of positive publicity for Adam.  Watching the promo several times - I agree with the unexpected. The opening is the character as he presents himself, but the throwing off the hat and hanging from the chandelier is the true version. ![]() Surprise! Haven't watched Glee since the first couple of shows in the first season (just didn't grab me), but will of course be watching a few times this season. I believe the promo may not be in sequence. I think there are at least three Adam scenes -- 1. Starchild auditions in the ballroom/chandelier room (does he first appear as Elliot or Starchild?), Kurt's shock is probably at the audition. 2. Then there is a rehearsal in Kurt's loft -- would seem like that would need to be after the audition. Is the Adamazon scene of him swinging on the rope during the rehearsal? Is that an outtake? 3. We also know Adam is in the big production number "Roar" and there is no clip of that here. Pretty sure we have some surprises on the real show. But it looks like instead of the typical "a boring guy who changes in a glam rock star". Looks like we might be introduced to Starchild first.

Thanks for the info. I appreciate you and all those that are doing the gleek ninjaing, not something I am doing. I am one who doesn't take fan speculation or rumors seriously without following the trail--seeing the picture, knowing the source of information etc. If the sites you get info from ever post their sources, and it is not too inconvienient, I, for one, would appreciate you sharing that piece too.

Hope your bday is happy! The little bits we have are posted in the GLEE section with sources and links. I try not to post rumors about Adam except when they are major and generally being reported. Like my fav silly Adam rumor ever -- Adam will play a DRAG QUEEN on GLEE!! Makes me smile every time I think of it now and look at this elegant, glamtastic character who looks like he was 100% Adam-created and is consistent with his personal brand. Seriously, think about how much fans angsted about that one. ETA: And for anyone who is not loving the look -- he could have done something like this.....  Or this....  Or this....  The above look is not one of Adam's best IMO. |
