LMAO, it's 8pm here, and in one hour Rihanna will start her concert here in Israel. It's OT, but I just heard on the entertainment news that Rihanna was supposed to land in Israel this AM, but for some reason her private plane only landed in the afternoon, and even then Rihanna insisted on going to the Dead Sea. Meaning, it didn't even occur to her to go to the venue and have a soundcheck. What can I say, people are different. I've heard so many disappointing reports about Rihanna's attitude towards her live shows. She's late, she gives a lazy performance, she doesn't seem to care about the fact that she's cheating her paying audience out of their money; why should she care as people keep buying her tickets and her music. I can't say for sure that this is all true; I've never been to one of her shows. But I've certainly seen and heard these comments from different people over time. I know two girls who saw her live and said she was fantastic, ymmv as always |

I guess our perceptions often become coloured by the things we hear first...and I've heard a lot of negative things before any positives. But I'm glad she can put on a good show. |

Maybe we’re getting a message here about peace and cooperation in the end. We certainly hope so. The New York story, meanwhile, we’re not so worried about it. It should just be a nice breath of fresh air and happiness following the Cory Monteith tribute, which hardly ended on much of a joyous note at all. |
