Just curious. I am not a Gleek. Watched the first season and that was it. I know they typically have lots of big name guest stars. There have been several female guest stars who have been legitimate, trained singers. Kristin Chenowith comes to mind. What about male guest stars? Have they had many? Were they actors, pop stars, and or legitimate, trained singers?
From what I have seen and listened to, they haven't featured legitimate, trained male singers. Is the casting of Adam unusual?

Actually Cheyenne Jackson had a guest role , but I am pretty sure he did not sing. Josh Groban has been on the show too as himself, but did not sing. It is strange that these male singers were on the show but did not perform. Neil Patrick Harris had a bit part and I remember he sang and did a fabulous job There may have been others but these are the guys I remember most.
crazyforadam wanted to know if pre releasing a song before the episode is typical. I can't say for sure that it is typical, but I have seen it done before. I have seen videos of a performance on youtube of a specific song days before the episode airs as promo. I don't follow Glee social media, but I do watch the watch the show religiously and have since the beginning. It is one of my favorite shows on network tv.
