This was posted early in the thread, but I didn't look at it very closely. Now, with a second look, I see that there is a quote from Adam about Starchild being "the most amplified" version of him when he was younger. Posting it again as others may have also missed it. As we used to say in Brooklyn....MEH! Yes, he is extremely talented but he also strikes me as someone who is totally into self-promotion......something our guy has only discovered recently. I followed Todrick on Twitter for all of about 45 minutes.......got tired of all the tweets about himself. And besides, I would bet most of his 85k followers know about Adam already! ![]() Thanks don'tshakemytree,Had to get that off my chest.. Suddenly I don't like Toddy as much...Talent is great ,but a big heart and talent is better. Adam has tons of friends who have not tweeted about MTN. Why single out Toddrick?  |

I totally agree. The name Glambert is an asset, imo, and I hope he secures the rights to it, rather than diss it, and also we know from previous interviews that Adam actually used to love that name. So has he changed his opinion here, or is Shoshanna running a one person mission to reduce that word to mean the fan base only?
I really think she is throwing away something unique and valuable. Would be better to design and sell fan apparel with that name on it, rather than fruitlessly trying to distance him from this befitting name.
I also don't think that this name implies that Adam only does Glam. Just means that glam is a big part of him. Does not mean that his next album cannot be straight-up rock or pop or whatever he wants. Adam will never not be glamorous, so the name will always work, even if his musical style is more varied. And anyways, how many people in the general public have a clear musical concept in mind when they hear glam? People have various visual associations, sure, and they all work quite well for Adam. But musically, the door is still widely open, even if he is the Glambert, imo.

In this article, when asked if he is a Katy or a Gaga, he says he identifies with both, "I'm Adam Lambert." I take the last part of this quote to mean "Adam Lambert" rather than calling himself "a Katy" or "a Gaga." Reminds me of when he went to Ru Paul's drag race to support Raja and was asked in an interview what his drag name would be, and he said "Adam Lambert." I know there have been some other times when he has answered in this way, too. peace&love |
