But I am trying to be calm and wait until it airs tonight (while desperately looking for a live stream of the episode that airs earlier in the evening)

Hey I'm a metalhead!! Adam's high notes are the same kind of approach as guys like these, the edgy anti-pop metalheads usually at least admit that his high notes are the shit. In my experience anyway.
